"The people are very nice, and the place is well located. The cleaning is done regularly and there is a person watching the entrance 24h. However, you may want to know that if you book a room without a bathroom, there are only two bathrooms with toilets for the entire hostel (30 people). Additionally, all the bathrooms are in very poor condition, the water pressure is weak, and the shower basins let water spill onto the floor. There are cockroaches; it's infested. In the dorms, there is no storage, not enough sockets for everyone, and no AC. I've stayed in many hostels before, and this one was just disappointing for some points."

"Modern, well-equipped and functional apartments. Right next to Tarrafal beach. For those peaceful holidays with flip-flops on! Just grab your towel and go down a small ramp. The restaurant is fantastic. You can eat with a wonderful view over the beach. Definitely worth coming back for."
