Ramada by Wyndham Targu Jiu

Everything was very well.

In Targu Jiu we were in need of accommodation and the hotel I've booked is the Ramada. Very new hotel - only opened last year - situated a bit far from the center , but very quiet, with a generous parking lot in front. Check in - check out went very easy , the front desk staff very helpful and doing a very good job. Room we had was fairly big, more than enough for 2, very clean, comfortable bed, big screen TV , should you need it, strong Wi-fi (for free) , coffee corner - for those lazy mornings, in the closed you have a small safe if you need, air conditioning to adjust to the summer heat. Minibar was loaded with all kind of drinks - prices, just a bit higher than average - but not prohibitive. Bathroom spacious - should you need anything it is there (shampoo, lotion, conditioner) - and very clean. Breakfast at the hotel, a good selection of options, with the refill speed the staff needs to catch up - a lot of empty trays seating around in the display for too long. Pool access ridiculously expensive (however if you book directly on Ramada site is included - don't get why the double standard , if you book via different site you shall pay the entrance fee ... whatever). A decent prince to quality ratio - with minor items here and there , but nothing to really complain about. Overall a very good hotel , and very new in Targu Jiu - whenever in need of accommodation I recommend you try this hotel.

Hotel is located on the outskirts of the town a short ride into town. We stayed here for 3 weeks and it was a very nice stay. The staff were good in particular Adrian who really knows how to offer excellent customer service. Facilities are nice and cleaning standards are extremely high, after spending 3 weeks would return.

Such a pleasant surprise this hotel! It is far from the city center but who cares!! If you have a car, therevis no problem. And if not, you always can call a taxi. The entrance to the pool is too expensive in my oppinion, also the breakfast is expensive and most of the time the trays are empty. You have to ask for everything...is a waste of time. Rooms are large and very well appointed, very clean . Air conditining works very well. People are extremely nice , service prompt and good. I would return in the future.
