Going home tomorrow after 1 week stay. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly & helpful. We have found our room adequate but the bathroom is very outdated, the shower is awful. Had to turn it on 10 mins before we wanted a shower for the water to heat up, only to find no water pressure what so ever. Food in buffet restaurant was nice, plenty of choice although we ate out every night in the square outside the hotel. There are 4/5 restaurants here including a Chinese, all very good food. Also 2 bars outside hotel, 1 being a cocktail bar which was lovely & quirky. We came here as a couple for a week of winter sun but our main struggle was the location of the hotel. Twice we walked 5 miles along the coast to maspalomas because we like walking and wanted a change of scenery as there is nothing outside the hotel except the few restaurants, bars & supermarket. Lovely hotel, nice relaxing week, but due to the location we would not return.

After waiting 40 minutes at the airport, the TUI Blue bus never arrived to pick us up, and the agents had no tracking information available. Having already had a long day, we decided to take a taxi, which charged us 60 EUR for a 20-minute drive. Once at the hotel, simply glancing at the showerhead (which might as well be nonexistent given its poor quality) made it clear that this hotel didn’t live up to its supposed 4-star rating. Additionally, there were no shampoo or conditioner amenities in the room, which was disappointing. Despite placing the “please clean” sign outside, our room was never cleaned. We were there for only 3 days, but it would have been nice to have it cleaned, especially since it wasn’t particularly clean upon arrival. With 255 rooms in the hotel, it was frustrating that we couldn’t extend our stay in ours until 3 PM on checkout day, even for an extra fee.

While I appreciated that it was a 'family' hotel, I would have preferred that one of the three pools available was adult-only. The exercise classes (and their 'leaders') were great, the table-waiting and cleaning staff were fabulous, and the food available was always excellent.

My mum and I had a fantastic time on our winter break at Gruptoel Orquieda. The staff we encountered were wonderful and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a sea view room. There were plenty of amenities for adults available. Lots of choices at the buffet. Only improvement, could be the showerheard quality as you were unable to change its setting and it has a "fire hose spray" feel to it. The beach was so peaceful and quiet and there were plenty of sunbeds available with sea views! Overall and incredible experience!

Hotel increíble después de leer varios comentarios tengo que decir que volveríamos otra vez , la comida estuvo muy bien .el hotel es grande la limpieza se hacía todos los días y tenemos que destacar a nuestra chica de limpieza una joven muy alegre y divertida que nos tenía la habitación muy limpia . Sin duda Inma es un crédito para este hotel .lo recomiendo .

Great place to stay
This resort and room exceeded our expectations. Everything is great including location (unless you want to be in the busy downtown). The only problem is parking as there is no dedicated parking. Would stay again for sure!

Tolles Hotel mit vielen Freizeitmöglichkeiten; mehrere Pools, Bars, Restaurant, etc.
Zu empfehlen für Reisende mit Kindern oder auch andere Urlauber.
Sollten wir nochmals die Kanaren buchen, dann wieder hier!
