"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Hetou Old Street. It seems to be a new establishment, as the decor is very fresh, yet there's no lingering 'new renovation' smell at all. The bedding is super comfortable, and they even provide two types of pillows. The service upon arrival was great too; they upgraded our room type without us even asking. There's also a rest area inside with complimentary snacks and drinks. Overall, I'm very satisfied!"

Holiday Inn Express TANGSHAN DOWNTOWN by IHG ★★★

"The hotel's location is in the city center. Just 20 meters to the left of the entrance is the bus stop for bus #99, which goes to Tangshan Station and Nanhu Park. On weekends and holidays, you can catch the fountain and light show at 8:30 PM, which is definitely worth seeing. For breakfast, they offer pure milk and cereal, and the noodle station staff are very enthusiastic and friendly."

"Everything else about the hotel was great, except for the service. We arrived at the hotel around 9 AM, and there were no clean rooms available. So, we stored our luggage with the concierge and left. We returned to the hotel around 11 AM, and our room was ready. Shortly after we entered the room, an intern from the concierge department knocked on our door to deliver a box of chestnuts. Then, about 20-30 minutes later, just as I had laid down and fallen asleep, another staff member with a pen and notebook knocked on my door to ask if I was satisfied with the room. I politely replied that everything was good, and they left. Since we were going out again in the afternoon, I immediately put on the 'Do Not Disturb' sign. However, the front desk then called me, saying they saw I had put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign and asked when they could deliver the fruit. I had already put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, and another staff member had just left three or four minutes earlier. Why couldn't they have done everything at once? I really don't understand!!!!"

"My initial room seemed to not be incorrect, they immediately upgraded my room. Then I lost my AirPods (for the second time when staying at this hotel) both times a lovey lady named Cathy made sure I got them back, even contacting the rail company and getting them from the train. Goods great, pool is awesome. Best place to stay when visiting Tangshan and price is great"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is free tea leaves and fruit basket for the guests in the room. The room is very spacious too! We came during the rainy seasons and the hotel lend us an umbrella. The hotel staff really did their best to make sure the we enjoyed their our there."

"The hotel environment is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast selection is extensive, befitting the hotel's caliber. Conveniently, the hotel's back exit leads directly to Nanhu Park, which boasts scenery comparable to Hangzhou's West Lake. The swimming pool water temperature is just right, and the hygiene is excellent. A special shout-out to the hotel's service! I accidentally left my watch in my bathrobe, and the hotel actively helped me locate it and even mailed it back to me. This left a truly profound impression of Tangshan. I will definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel is huge, and the environment is lovely and very clean. The front desk staff who handled check-in and check-out were exceptionally professional, providing attentive and warm service. They even upgraded us to a lake-view room! What's more, getting to Hetou Old Street was incredibly convenient; we didn't need to drive ourselves as there was a shuttle bus service, which was a huge relief. My kids had a fantastic time."
