Just a weekend get a way for our 40th anniversary! We originally booked this cozy cottage, but was surprised at an upgrade to one of their new private cottages as a gift for our anniversary! Jeff and Christie were so nice and made our stay much more than they had to. We had everything we needed and added a few things for the next guest as our little thank you! Friendly host, clean, private, quiet, close to just about anything you may want or need! What more could you ask for?

Great space, wonderful hosts and Flash!
Awesome space, nice and quiet. Used it as a place for my groomsmen to get ready for the wedding and it was the perfect size. Just close enough to the interstate/city but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. What made the entire stay was the best bell boy/greeter, Flash! 10/10 recommend for a nice, secluded stay.

It was really nice, the owners were very kind greeted us instantly when we got there the river was close to the area and it was very beautiful to see. It was very clean , Very quiet, no disturbance in the morning and at night. The owners let us know that they were available at any moment that we needed them.

Precious studio-style guest house. Owners close by and super helpful. Communication is excellent and Flash (the basset hound) is most welcoming, lol.

Unique experience
It was really awesome to stay right on the river!
Visiting family in Hammond LA but didn’t really want the hotel experience and this gave us the feel of having a little home to stay in and feel like a local.

Hidden Gem
We chose this property because of it's proximity to a family member's house. It was very well kept and the owners were very friendly and responsive. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Breezy on the water
Very quiet and comfortable. Easy access, and enjoyed meeting Flash. Christy & Jeff were wonderful hosts.

Host greeted us upon our late arrival. Helped us start a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Bed was comfortable. Very enjoyable visit

Beds were comfortable
only issue was I couldn’t communicate with owner via vrbo app because I booked thru ******* so i called vrbo direct twice to get info on entry code
Other than that place was 5 star
