Paradise Tourist Park

Such a great caravan park with an amazing campers kitchen & recreation room with a full kitchen and a lovely gas fire, fully enclosed overlooking a heated swimming pool. The staff are very friendly, especially Kylie. It is so close to town also. Loved it! Thanks guys. Cheers Sue Hayes

The park is in a great location. Facilities a bit dated but OK and the sites are a little tight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall enjoyed our stay

We booked into the park without a prior booking, which is our normal thing. The staff were great and facilities immaculate. The shops and parks along the Peel river are an easy walk even for us 70yo’s. We went to the Powerhouse Museum which was fantastic. A trip up to the lookout was great and of course the obligatory photo at the Golden Guitar.

Cannot fault this caravan park, very clean and tidy, so close to the Big Golden Guitar , the Country Hall of Fame and Motorcycle Museum and also the shopping centre. I can't rate the rooms as we had our caravan, but we will definately stay there again when up that way .

Nice park with good facilities. Friendly reception and clean and well set up cabins. Good location too! Central to facilities and shopping and a good location to visit the Tamworth attractions. Park itself is well maintained and clean. All in all - good option and value for money

We were somewhat disappointed with our time here, which was week 2 of the Country Music Festival. We were in the overflow area and felt somewhat isolated from the facilities and ambience normally found in a Big 4 Park. Really, all we had was a patch of grass and limited amenities (though they were adequate) We were very disappointed that the park offered no entertainment whatsoever during our stay (other smaller parks had local entertainment daily), no food vans or BBQ get together, nothing! Generators were allowed in our area for 8 hours, fair enough people have to charge their batteries when camping off grid but our neighbour (and others) had them on all afternoon whilst they sat in air conditioned comfort whilst we endured the non stop noise, there was no peaceful happy hour until they left for their evening out. I think this should be capped at 2 hours Max each day. It was very disappointing that rubbish was not sorted. There was not even a separate area for 10c bottles or cans. This was a missed opportunity for charity and such a terrible waste to go in the mini skip which was all that was available. All in all I would probably choose a different camp site next trip.
