We started our journey from Puerto Maldonado with a scenic 35-minute boat ride to reach Monte Amazonico Lodge. The ride was a beautiful introduction to the Amazon, and the lodge—surrounded by lush nature—was simply amazing. Rooms and dining room were cleaned. Our guide, Ronal, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything so well during our jungle walks, especially about the animals, insects, and birds we spotted along the way. We’re also very thankful to the kitchen staff for accommodating us with delicious vegetarian meals throughout our stay—it truly made a difference. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and we highly recommend Monte Amazonico Lodge to anyone visiting the Amazon!

The ride was a beautiful introduction to the Amazon, and the lodge—surrounded by lush nature—was simply amazing. Our guide, Ronal, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything so well during our jungle walks, especially about the animals, insects, and birds we spotted along the way. We’re also very thankful to the kitchen staff for accommodating us with delicious vegetarian meals throughout our stay—it truly made a difference. The only small suggestion we have is to consider arranging hot water in the bathrooms. The water was quite cold, and while we understand it’s the jungle and facilities are limited, even slightly warm water would make a big difference for comfort. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and we highly recommend Monte Amazonico Lodge to anyone visiting the Amazon!

Wir hatten eine Menge Spaß und hatten sehr viel über die Tiere und den Jungle gelernt. Um uns wurde sich super gekümmert. Wir können die Tour empfehlen. Die Lodge liegt mitten in der Natur. Unsere Guides Viktor, Fernando, Tito und Samuel waren super.

My family and I traveled from the U.S. to fulfill a long-time dream of visiting the Amazon, and Monte Amazonico Lodge made it unforgettable. Fernando, our tour guide, went above and beyond to make the experience truly special. The lodge was cozy and surrounded by beautiful native flora and fauna, creating an authentic Amazonian atmosphere. The activities offered were both fun and enriching, giving us a deeper appreciation for the region. On top of that, the meals were fresh, natural, and absolutely delicious—something my entire family appreciated.

Fernando Ataulluco Peralta was fantastic. Very professional, knowledgeable and had a wonderful attitude. Our whole group was very impressed with him. He went above and beyond to give us a great experience. I highly recommend Fernando and Carlos Expeditions.

Notre aventure de 4 jours au Monte Amazonico Lodge a été pour nous deux l’une des plus belles expériences de notre vie ! Un cadre fantastique avec un personnel très bienveillant ! Nous n’avons rencontré que des personnes formidables avec des activités tout à fait variées. Un régal pour tout âge ! Un spécial merci pour notre guide Gonzalo qui a su créer une cohésion de groupe formidable et a su nous transmettre la passion de « sa » jungle ! Merci à l’ensemble de l’équipe, nous ne pouvons que recommander l’expérience !

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Monte Amazonico Lodge. Die geführten Touren mit Samuel, Ronal und Gonzalo waren super organisiert und sehr interessant. Die Lodges waren sauber und das Essen immer lecker! Der Pool war eine willkommene Abkühlung.

great experience and good program. Be careful with food allergies, as the kitchen staff won‘t consider it well enough (although the office will ask about food allergies). Our tour guides were fernando and apollo, very nice and competent guides!
