We spent two nights in #6 (the separate cabin) and enjoyed this B&B. We are independent travelers, so we appreciated having a serve-yourself type of continental breakfast in the main house where we could eat the quantity we wanted and the type of food that we wanted - not just what was on a menu that day. Bill greeted us with a smile every morning and was great at drawing everyone into conversations. Each day, the guests shared what they had done the day before and what they had planned. It was a good way to learn from each other. And Bill had lots of suggestions for hiking trails, restaurants, flightseeing, etc. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The real plus was the private deck that overlooked Denali - and Denali was on display the day we arrived, the next day, and the morning we left! It was spectacular. There is a long, winding, hilly dirt road up to the B&B, but it felt so private once we got there. And we were only about 10 minutes away from the closest businesses.

Excellent place to stay in the hills outside of Talkeetna. Friendly and comfortable and good breakfast. Also a wonderful view of Mt.McKinley!

What a beautiful place! Serene, quiet and a breathtaking view of Denali. Bill was so accommodating! We woke up to a tire that needed air desperately so he went to his home and got one for us! He also called a tire repair place and told them of our dilemma so they were expecting gnus when we arrived. Coffee and breakfast was ready when we got up. Highly recommend this place if you want to be away from the bustle of Talkeetna in the evening. Thank you Bill!

Tucked away in the mountains, this had great views and was quiet but sadly a little overcast the night/day we were there and so didn't get to enjoy their deck. Definitely out of town, but wasn't that far a drive to get into Talkeetna.

Comfortable room with a beautiful view.
Everything was as explained and expected. The location is great. You get a very good view of Mount McKinley. The room is nice and clean. The bed was comfortable.
Breakfast is simple but enough to stop you from driving so long.
Bill is frieny and knowledgeable of the area.
I had a good stay and would be back for sure.

We got independent cabin. It was spacious, clean. Got excellent complimentary breakfast. Owner personally came at breakfast time and was very good

Beautiful Views and Friendly Hosts
It was a last minute booking. There were others staying at the same time but we were spread out enough that we only saw each other at breakfast.
The breakfast was excellent and the host was there to answer questions about the area. He engaged in conversation with everyone and made you feel welcome.
