Sanso Yunosato

An old Japanese-style hot spring B&B, run by two old ladies, who were very polite, but we couldn't speak Japanese and couldn't talk much. The main reason was that there was no toilet in the room, so we had to go to the end of the floor (very close, of course), and to take a shower we had to go to the hot spring on the first floor (which was always open, and the rooms were on the second and third floors). The window shades were Japanese-style paper, so light would come in early in the morning, so it was wishful thinking to sleep in. Hirayu is quite rural, and eating out is a problem in the off-season. There are no convenience stores either (there is only a small furniture store that closes at 8pm). A hotel with one night and two meals is fine, but this one doesn't look like it provides dinner, maybe it will be different in the peak season
