Check-in is done via video call, and the bathroom and shower room are only on the first floor. There is no elevator, and the stairs are very steep and narrow, so it's very inconvenient.

I highly recommend this, it's an international youth hostel with many foreigners staying there, mostly from Western countries. The entire hostel is cleaned every day, so it is very clean. This hostel is fully self-service. You can make your own tea, coffee, take a shower, wash and dry clothes, etc. It is all self-service and free. As long as you clean it, it will be fine. The sleeping space is relatively large, and it is not as cramped as the capsules in Tokyo. It is worth recommending. This hostel is close to Mitsuji, just a few steps away. Very clean and very quiet.

The location is very close to the attractions. It takes 8 minutes to walk to JR Takato Station for self check-in. The price is reasonable.

The ventilation and air conditioning work well (it's warm in winter, not stuffy), a large and wide bed (height is probably 1.5 m). Excellent location (not far from the train station and historical streets nearby) and price. The common area starts right from the entrance. It would be great to fence off the hallway in cold weather so that cold air doesn't get in when someone comes in.
