Very good hotel! Location - next to the shrine and not far from the gorge. Very beautiful spacious room in Japanese style, which is clean and warm. Perfect cleanliness. Breakfast was good. The staff is very polite and friendly - they explained how to get to the Kagura performance and gave a cushion to sit on.

The hotel is in a very good location, very close to Takachiho Gorge, with a large parking lot. The two counter staff I met were both foreigners, and there was no problem communicating in simple English. This time I stayed in a Japanese-style tatami room, which was very large and required me to make my own bed. It had all the necessary facilities, and there were yukatas and handbags for going to the bathhouse next to the elevator. The snacks and tea provided were delicious, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Overall it was pretty good, but please note that there is nothing to eat nearby after about 6 or 7 o'clock. The hotel has a restaurant until 7 or 7:30, and room service is available until 7:30.
