2 tiolets for 44 people Floor has never been cleaned Smells so bad it woke people up every couple hours and opened the door just like other reviews. Complete dump. Go to main train station for better hostels

The location is very convenient to MRT and a few Places of Interest in Taipei. If you can walk aprox 4-5km you can reach places like Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, National Palace Museum, Lunghsan Temple and many more. In actual fact i walk all the way to Taipei 101.  The hostel provide adequate facilities and privacy. At the end of the day it's very much depending on your expectation.  It's my first visit to hostel, I think what you really need is just a pair of ear plug to sleep at night. And since we are sharing room with a few people, if smell is a concern you can always place air freshener near your bed.  If you intend to check in between 8pm to 10am, pls make sure you know how to enter the hotel, as there aren't any hotel staff there. You need to now how to press the number to come in. Or wait for other Guest to pass by before opening door for you. 

I recently stayed at this hotel in Taipei and had a wonderful experience. The location is incredibly central, making it easy to access all the major tourist spots. Each guest space is cozy and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The washrooms are spotless and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. Additionally, the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Taipei!

Walking distance from Longshan Temple train station to hotel roundly 5min. Service why I given 1/5, requested staff I want lower bed, but she told me got one of the guests requested and not coming yet. Even I reached first also not allow to get lower bed the poor things till next day I saw the lower bed is still empty not body sleep. I can't understand even why requested and not allow me to sleep lower bed. Why i did not post room photo is because another 2 traveler mates stayed first and their things is there not convenient taking photo.

From the MRT Longshan Temple MRT 龍山寺 ( blue line ) to the hostel you need to walk around 4/5 min. The staff is very friendly and helpful to introduce you the rules for the check in and check out, showing you touristic places. They are willing to help you as much as possible. The access for the bedroom and bathroom are really ease and secure with a card. Inside the bathroom you got hair dryer, soap and shampoo. And finally you got a nice living room with nice sofa, and table to eat or working on your stuff.

Pros: Good price. Comfortable communal area. Lots of showers available. Friendly and organised staff. Kitchen facilities offered. Quite close to the Longshan Temple and Nanjichang Night Market for tasty dinners. Cons: Nothing in particular.

In a good location, 2 min walk to the blue line and a 10 minute walk to Xieman. Beds where comfortable with own blind too but I probably wouldn’t stay here again though, not the cleanest hostel and not very social.

Most ghetto Hostel I stayed at in Taipeh, half the Toilets are Squatting pans which are shared between genders, during my stay someone tested the Fire alarm in the morning, cleaners are constantly opening the room doors and leaving them open, most things are Worn out or run down, also you got no International electric outlets. Only good thing really was the beds which are soft but have a Hard bottom and are comfortable to sleep in, also the rooms don’t have windows so you can really sleep in without sunlight waking you up.

It was okay for a few nights but I wouldn't choose it again. The staff was nice and helpful and it's located close to Longshan temple, which is beautiful. However the area isn't the nicest and the cleanliness of the hostel needs improvement. Everything looked quite primitive.

Place is good. 10 minutes walk going to Ximen Walking Street, but You can take the uber for 150 NTD, No coin laundry. Hall is a mess. Instructions were clear you just need to read every details. Toilet is clean but theres no bidet, just tissue. Not recommended for people that needs water to clean their 🍑. But overall its a nice place to sleep after a long tour in Taiwan.

This is my second time in Taipei. This hotel makes my solo trip more fulfilling. Comfortable, clean, and the staff are friendly. The bed and sheets are comfortable. The shower room is clean and has hot water. If I come to Taipei again, I would like to stay at this hotel again.

I liked the location ok. It was hard to find due to maps not working right. The service was great and it was a nice place to stay. I will return my next trip. Thanks for the great stay.

Amazing service and clean hostel at Meetingmates. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very near the mrt station so very convenient to get around the city as well.

The shared toilet wasn’t very clean and had a bad smell, but everything else is fine.
