I had a great stay at Abstract Hotel! The location was perfect, the service was top-notch, and everything was spotless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, I just really wish the room had air conditioning—it was way too hot, and I struggled to sleep because of it. Also, I wasn’t a fan of the scent of the bathroom products, and since I only stayed one night, I hadn’t brought my own. But that’s an easy fix for next time! Overall, I absolutely loved my experience. The staff was so lovely, and I even made new friends during my stay! I’ll definitely be booking here again the next time I’m in Auckland.

Easy check in and check out. Clean room and very nice interior. Only downside is, your voices will be clearly heard from the hallway. Overall very nice and affordable accomodation.

Good value for money, close to CBD. Has sauna but you have to book and pay extra. Has a free gym though.

Helpful staff, and a restaurant with a variety of option for breakfast or lunch. The location is very central, making it ideal to see the main spots of the city. The rooms are a bit small but the price is really cheap that what you get is more than enough for what you get. Overall, it’s a practical and affordable option for visitors.

Good for short stays or single/couple travellers with less baggages. Room size can be rather small even for 2. Note the parking option is a short walk across from the hotel. Overall, room is equipped with the basic necessities

The room was compact but had everything I needed - a comfortable bed, a small table with two seats, a microwave and fridge, coffee maker. I liked that the room was not done in neutral colours, but instead rich, dark patterns. WiFi worked well but the TV had no connection to anything. Everything very clean. Nice bar and outside area downstairs, with an Italian restaurant as well, but I didn't eat there. Location is just across Karangahape Road on Upper Queen Street - a good location if using buses to come from or go to the airport, as the stops are within 50 metres.

Great facilities! There are gym and cozy library. The room is decent size. There is coffee machine, fridge and microwave. Great accommodation for the price!

Bus station nearby but still a little far walking to Queen street . Mini kitchen in the room but no cooking pot and knife. Coffee machine is good. Restaurants around all shutdown, business is not running well.. cables bridge hanging up on the roof in the room, looks weird ..nz$200 security deposit demanded when check in but return in 24h after check out.

Decor was too dark as in ‘black’ with the kitchen/living area needing more lighting. Lack of air conditioning albeit a company policy is a definite minus, perhaps an additional fan would help a great deal. Staff were pleasant & helpful.

I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant (alla prossima). Check in and out was efficient and staff young but professional. The room is very well equiped. The kitchen has induction cooker (2 heaters and extractor hood), microwave, toaster, cutlery, mugs, glasses, and dishes. For my personal taste is too dark and warm, probably because of the thick carpets on all walls and the ceiling. The bathroom is well equipped as well, with an ample shower but with tiny sink so that you will splash easily around. There is little room to leave the luggage

Lovely hotel in the centre of Auckland. Super modern and beautiful decor. The communal areas are so well maintained and inviting. Rooms are small and compact but have everything you need and super comfy bed. Staff are lovely and welcoming. Only issue was how hot the rooms are. There is a Dyson fan provided but it just didn’t seem to touch the sides with lowering the temperature. There’s no air conditioning in the hallways either so it’s immediately hot as soon as you enter the lift.
