Xinshe Business Hotel Linsen Branch Reviews

Location was good, near Zhongshan Elementary school station and lots of buses stopping there as well, bus stop right outside hotel was handy. Lots of stores in walking distance. Hotel room was large, with very nice firm mattress on bed, large shower room, polite and helpful staff.  Would’ve liked more choice of breakfast but what was there was fine.

It’s a very convenient location and I always love staying here due to the big room space. It’s one of the most spacious hotel room in Taipei with reasonable price.

Really nice hotel with a convenient location! lots of food nearby and is super close to public transportation. The price for the hotel and the quality you receive is really nice. It's spacious and the rooms are always nicely cleaned.  There's a bus stop in front of the hotel. It's also right next to several convenience store. Opposite the hotel is a luxurious massage place :) the opposite street has several shops like CoCo (boba shop), McDonald's, a cinema, Mos Burger (Japanese Burger joint) 

Spacious room ; huge toilet with bath tub ! Tv can spin for sofa / bedding watching … front service seems not happy to help ; and pls breakfast with very low expectation.

The distance is very near to train station and there are many eateries nearby, very convenient. Will be good to have smart TV for us to screen mirror our movies as a bonus point.

The whole room has a strong wood smell. You'd better not put anything in the cabinets or barrels as they are too smelly. There is also some musty smell. The chairs feel wet when you sit on them, probably because of the humidity. Although the toilet door is made of frosted glass, the gaps on both sides are too big and you can clearly see what the people in the toilet are doing. When I first came in, the staff was already in the middle of the lobby. Seeing that it was inconvenient for each guest to carry two pieces of luggage, they did not open the door but turned around and walked back to the counter. Later, I requested a quiet room, but they converted my room on the high floor into the first room at the elevator entrance on the low floor. I could hear them coming in and out of the entrance. After we left, the three staff members in the lobby didn't help us open the door. It was really poor service. I stayed in Taiwan for ten days. I originally wanted to stay in the same hotel for ten days, but I was afraid of meeting these staff, so I stayed in three different hotels for comparison. This is the worst one, it's just big. The fitness room was under maintenance and could not be used.

The room size is comparably bigger than other similar level hotels in Zhongshan District. However, some furnishings (sofa, carpet are quite dated. Continental breakfast is acceptable. Freshly ground coffee is available in the lobby. The front desk staff seem always busy (check in and out, and their own stuff) so most of the time you won’t get greetings. Overall, a decent choice.

Triple room is comfortable, spacious and bathroom is big with nice walk-in shower and tub. Location is very good with subway 3-min walk away and many eateries, laundromats and convenience stores nearby. Housekeeping needed to be reminded a few times to vacuum the carpeted floor, change sheets (our stay was very long) and replenish supplies like toilet paper and tea, which is not good. Do bring your hand soap for washing hands. Generally, reception staff are helpful and happy to accomodate requests. Duty manager Sofia Huang is very responsive and particularly helpful - kudos to her!

Stayed a few time already but really hope they can renovate the hotel as it’s quite run down

I arrived in the hotel around 2p.m., but the front office told me that they didn't finish cleaning the room and let me come again after an hour. However, A bathtub was dirty when I entered the room. I found a few hair inside the bathtub and it was not polished. In addition, breakfast was not good because all foods such as scramble egg, fried potatoes and bacons were not kept hot. I don't want to stay again.

Great Hotel with a great price! Xinshe Hotel also has a good service. But, to be noted, if we wanted to go to the airport by using taxi facilities from Xinshe Hotel, it's more expensive than usual taxi.

The room reminded me of the good old days, it looks gorgeous and well decorated. But breakfast errr…

Excellent location near many shops, eating places, grocery, Poya, McDonald, 7-11, Family Mart, 4 beauty shops and message parlors, pharmacy, Mos Burger, and a night market. Bus stop in front, MRT station 5 minutes walk. Friendly house keepers! Breakfast included. But could be better. Front Desk especially the English speaking friendly old men. So helpful! Always go out of his way to assist us. He is one of the reason our trip was memorable. The room is so clean and so big. The sleeping area is separated from the sitting area and the TV set, which added additional value to the experience. I love the furnitures, lovely! The beds are comfy and the air condition works wondetful! The bathroom is big with bathtub and amazing huge shower head! The toilet has a bidet! For shower, Just make sure to let the water run for 5 minutes for the it to get hot. I would stay again at Xinshe Hotel in my future trips to Taiwan. Actually, we extend our stay at Xinshe Hotel for another week. Provide daily free water, coffee, tea. and coco bags as well. Small refrigerator that we used for our drinks.
