Hotels with Breakfast in Tainan

This is my second time here. I really like it. It’s suitable for family and friends to travel together. The public space on the 3rd floor is indoors and has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee, etc. You can use it. There is also an outdoor space, which is very suitable for buying all kinds of Tainan food in this area. It’s good to have dinner and chat here. place

Stayed in the family room for a night. Hotel is slightly dated but it is still fairly well kept. Room is very spacious and comfortable. There is a large gym with a variety of machines. Breakfast buffet selection was decent.

My stay at Hotel Tainan was just okay overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was good, offering a decent variety of options to start the day. The room itself was fine, though it felt a bit outdated, particularly the bathroom, which was noticeably old, except for the modern heated toilet. While functional, the overall atmosphere of the hotel didn’t feel particularly pleasant or inviting. It served its purpose, but I wouldn’t describe it as a comfortable or memorable place to stay.

Service was amazing, staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices are pretty good with letting you choose either a Western or Chinese style buffet breakfast. Room is clean and with a nice view of Tainan City (was on 12th floor).

The location is fairly good, the hotel itself is clean and new. The breakfast selection is huge too. Travel with my one year old, hotel provided crib and baby shampoo + lotion. However they do not provide sterilizer （消毒鍋）for baby bottles. Overall it was a good experience, staffs are all very friendly as well. Convenient store and mall are all within 5mins walking distance.

The room was well-furnished, featuring comfortable seating and a functional desk area, perfect for anyone needing to catch up on work or enjoy a quiet moment. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the cozy bedding made it hard to leave in the mornings. The decor, with its unique patterns and vibrant throw pillows, added a touch of personality to the space. The ambiance in the room during the night was equally charming. The soft lighting created a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for winding down after a long day of exploring the city. Overall, The Place Tainan Hotel provides a wonderful blend of comfort, style, and a great view, making it an excellent choice for both leisure, business or solo travelers.

location is very good, lots of eateries nearby, hotel rooms are clean, hotel service not bad and allowed to have early check-in at 2pm for free, one thing no good is no provides coffee and tea bags in the rooms

Very straight in check in and check out time. The room is not clean. Dust on closet door. Spider web at wall panel. Air conditioner is very noisy. I signed non smoking policy at check in time. Unfortunately, we were woke up by smoking smell consecutive nights at our stay. I called front desk and did nothing. Breakfast is lousy. It closes at 10am; and most of the dishes are empty. I am so disappointed.

A family oriented hotel so solo travelers might felt a bit ignored. Adding a coffee machine at the lobby would be very helpful. They follow Japanese check in check out hours and also quite strict about it… I think that’s the biggest downside of the hotel. You will have to wait exactly after 3pm for the room and out in 11 even they are not full. Otherwise the room and location is good, would recommend.

I wanted to test the famous mud springs. This hotel reportedly has one of the best spas. Tips: - I decided to stay overnight in the hotel (2 spa entry tickets with a double room + bfast for $2800) instead of using a day ticket to the spa (400$). The village is far from the city, so staying overnight may cost slightly more than a cheap city hotel, but you're not in a rush and looking for buses etc. - Each spa ticket is basically 2x tickets (1 for the normal spa, and 1 for the naked single-sex spa), so if there are 2 of you, you could go to the naked spa one day and the main spa the next. - The spa has about 15 different hot spring pools, of different temperatures + ingredients, some clear and some ”mud”. There's also mud facials and fish-cleaning for your feet. The electric pools send electric shocks through your body too. There's a swimming pool. - They speak English (basic but enough). - You need a swimming hat and a towel. I took mine but the spa front desk also offered them to borrow. - Plan on spending 3 hours. I'm not a spa lover, but even i found myself taking long. - I went in May and the weather is not at all hot at that height. - Most ********* take their instant noodles in, so that they can eat inside and stay all day. - The hotel is quite beautiful, made from wood (on the face of it). It's got lovely seating areas and they put nice fairy lights everywhere at night. - The hotel room is comparatively expensive for Taiwan at $2800 for 3* (minus the 2x spa tickets of $400 each), but the cheapest ”no window” room (it has 2 windows, but no view) is big and has 2 large concrete baths in (1 for hot mud water + 1 for cold water to dip in and out). Therefore, given that it is a beautiful location too, I do think it's very reasonable. - The breakfast is mostly chinese but there's some western bits. It's standard for 3* but the location of the eating area has beautiful views of the jungle. - It's a 15 minute nice walk to lots of restaurants and a convenience shop.
