Our stay at Manyuan exceeded expectations. Every staff member we met was thoughtful and kind, and Xiaoxiao (晓晓) stood out as a true miracle worker. She took the time to address our concerns, even late at night, due to our tricky itinerary. Her incredible service made all the difference in our experience. We initially chose Manyuan for its clean, spacious rooms with a tub, as well as benefits like itinerary planning, a complimentary foot bath, and breakfast. We were relieved and impressed to find all these—and much more. Upon our late-night arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a plate of fresh fruit prepared in our room. The hotel even provided more upon request, which helped tide us over until breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, the selection featured plenty of delicious Chinese options. My wife and I especially enjoyed the tasty yogurt, and I appreciated the easy-to-use coffee machine, fragrant tea, and simple yet satisfying cakes and dumplings. Thete weee plenty of other choices, too. Xiaoxiao also made our park visits effortless by booking our tickets in advance. Thanks to her help, all we had to do was scan our passports or use facial recognition to enter the attractions. After a long day exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the complimentary foot bath was a welcome treat—we simply had to boil water, add provided herbal pouches, and a basin made it easy to enjoy a relaxing soak. When we encountered an unexpected emergency, Xiaoxiao was incredibly understanding and responsive, once again demonstrating her dedication and professionalism. She even helped us with our Lantern Festival itinerary that would take place after we'd checked out. She acknowledged weather considerations and even road closures ahead of providing her recommendations. Her wide yet humble knowledge of the area deeply moved us. Even the small details at Manyuan, like the delicious front desk candies and complimentary luggage storage, added to our enjoyment. We are deeply grateful for such a warm and accommodating experience and highly recommend Manyuan to future travelers.

Location is excellent as it is at the foothill of tianmenshan and right across the road from the cable car station up to tianmenshan which is my mucket list. Right from check in, we have a personalized and dedicated front desk reachout whom I add to my wechat contact. Constantly following up with my stay and acceding to my request of footbath and late night snacks. Room is clean and impeccable. Breakfast spread is sumptuous and wide range. Enough to last me beyond lunch. Convenient amenities nearby too.

Nice rooms, good location and lovely staff. They helped me plan my trips and got me my tickets easily. Not all the staff speaks English but communication still works great with translator and so on. Breakfast is Only chinese but I don't mind that. Only downside was that the shower temperature randomly changed between warm and cold sometimes. Besides that everything was great would recommend ☺️

We stayed for two nights with the main purpose of visiting Tian Men Mountain Park. Very pleased with the location, services, quality of facilities . Good breakfast selection. Numbers of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. About 15 minutes’ walk to the cable car entrance. Staff are attentive and kind. We booked a mountain view room. The view is great but it is right by a main street and the traffic noises are noticeable from about 7am to 11pm. The city-view, courtyard-view rooms are probably better in terms of traffic noise. All in all, we recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The location is ideal. Its in the middle of the old town and has a stunning view. But what made it for me was the service i received from these lovely people. I think i was the only guest and i could choose my room. They are so helpful with questions and with booking my train ticket. The rooms are cozy and look authentic and matches the vibe of the town. The heater was working properly which i could say in many places i stayed. The fact that they offer a drop-off was the cherry on top. I would definitely come back to them again if i go back

Hotel is located next to the Changsha Railway Station which makes train travel to Zhangjiajie West Station very convenient. I like it that the metro is just outside the hotel too. Line 2 (blue color) will bring you directly to Orange Isle (6 stations away). The same line will also bring you to Wuyi Guangchang, the main pedestrian street lined with restaurants and shops. The noodle soup at breakfast was good. I would suggest that the hotel provides the standard two pillows instead of one. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

I paid $191 NZD for 3 nights, pretty good deal! Clean, smart room, looks new, mostly quiet, could hear the hallway noises and some traffic noises (from the 15th floor) but not the next door room noises. Smoking was allowed outside I think, but was not an issue/the room did not stink of cigarettes even though there was an ashtray inside. Staff don’t speak English but with a bit of my Chinese I could communicate with them for the free trip from the West railway station to the hotel (15min car ride away). The bus station was about 10mins walk to catch the 1hr bus to the ZJJ National park, while the Tianmen mountain cable car was maybe 20mins walk away. Some nice restaurants and mini supermarkets nearby too. Would recommend.

Not the real 'Four Seasons' you might think of but otherwise, had an overall great experience there. Before the trip, WeChat-ed them and customer service was quick to respond to accomodate and provide transportation pick up service from the train station. However, despite messaging prior to inform about the changes in our number of pax/luggages so that they can arrange for a bigger car to pick up, there was a mix-up as the hotel forgot to cancel the first car allocated to us, leaving us stranded for around 30 mins (in the cold) at the parking lot while we wait for the correct car to arrive. It also wasted the first driver's time as he got there early and waited for us despite us not needing his services in the end.  The hotel itself was located in a nice location, and the room was great. It was high-tech where most of the room controls are controlled by 'Xiao Du' their Alexa/Google Home service which only responds in Mandarin so for those who are unable to speak then there's no use for it. The smart toilet is enjoyable as the seats are heated and the bidet function is much needed. One interesting thing is that one of the windows in all the rooms is always left partially open (unsure the true reason for it) but it may be bothersome to some as we went during winter so personally i didn't mind it as a natural air conditioning since most of the room is heated.  The driver service that the hotel provided can then also be directly hired by fellow travellers if you require the service to get to and fro the different attractions/parks that you would be visiting during your holiday in Zhangjiajie. Overall had a good experience here. Only wished for the hotel breakfast to offer more variety, it was decent enough. 

Excellent stay at Eryatou Inn! The location is very convenient — a quick walk to the west entrance of Zhangjiajie park and right next to a night market where lots of stalls are selling food (our favorite was a steak stall that served steak, pasta, egg, and a drink for 19.9rmb right in front towards the left facing away from the inn). The hosts were so kind and helpful, helping us plan our days at the park depending on weather, and inviting us to eat sweet potatoes and drink tea in the afternoon/evenings with other guests. They also helped us book our park ticket package and the theatre performance at a discount. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable, and shower was hot and had good pressure. Excellent value for the stay, we would stay again if we are ever in the area again!

I booked the Huajin room. It's spacious and like most hotels now, the toilet area is quite open without a proper door for you to lock. Thus it's suitable for couples. For friends travelling together, taking their suite is better as you have a big toilet area divided out with wooden doors and lock for privacy. There's no fridge for the Huajin room. Their suite has everything from weighing scale to fridge. Their service is wonderful though. When I feedback about smelling cigarettes in the morning (I booked the non smoking room in a non smoking floor), they apologised earnestly and offered to change a room. Breakfast choice is okie. Not a big spread but a few options for each type.

The staff were very efficient at check in which is not always the case within China, they photographed our IDs quickly to register us and gave us our room key. All of the rooms are very quirky and different which is a nice added feature (a nice suprise as to what you will get).

Excellent service, great location, friendly staff, great breakfast, especially room cleanness and maintenance in excellent care! It’s conveniently located next to Huangxing Street, only 5-10min walk away. The location is also central to almost all of the famous streets. Very good 5star hotel , rooms are big.

The service of this W hotel in Changsha is one of the best which I visited the same group in Hong Kong or other Asian countries before. Rooms is very modern and good decide for User friendly. The location is also very excellent as shopping and restaurant inside the same building which is good as usual

This is great experience at this hotel, we had 2 separate bookings this time first 3 nights, second was 4nights. The room is lovely and cozy, I requested higher floor smoking room and they tried their best to arranged it. The reception staff are very friendly and efficient. Especially 九月 ( WeChat name)as butler, she helps me a lots. My husband and myself are both very happy to come back again and again. The housekeeping team is also so nice and polite. The wine and snack set is bonus for our room, we tried couple times, also very good. The location is so convenient, the tube is just outside 2 mins by walk, there is line 1 and line 4 both. All in all, we love our choice.

This is a glorified 4 star hotel. Other than the location, you will be disappointed with the overall hotel experience. It lacks the attention to detail to be a true 5 star hotel experience. A couple of examples; non-smoking rooms being ruined by smokers, the rainforest shower (top mounted shower head) didn’t work and was just an unpleasant drizzle, air-conditioning that just had a mind of its own with no ability to adjust to desired temperature, the bed being somehow both firm and soft. If you are accustomed to chain hotels, then the attention to detail at the Niccolo is missing!

Checked in on Sat 28th before my fiancé to arrange some things like wedding flowers, decorations etc. Katrina at reception was absolutely fantastic. She followed up on the requests I had and verified the Trip.com staff information which was sent earlier. She was extremely friendly, kind, thoughtful, diligent, and professional - a real asset to IHG. She took care of everything. She arranged the decorations to be done after we left for marriage registration so when I got back it would all be ready for my wife. The facilities and service like the 1st floor all day dining restaurant, the Sky27 bar and Intercontinental club on the 27th floor, were wonderful. The Latin band (Cuban / Colombian duo) were magnificent and quite friendly ✊ Breakfast boxes were arranged for our early departure on 31st. The taxi was ordered and promptly arrived ahead of time to collect us. Hotel staff checked if I was an IHG member and applied my discounts where relevant. Breakfast buffet and all day a La carte dining was wonderful. Shopping mall access through the hotel lobby is easily accessible and quite convenient. All in all, it was a marvellous few days at Intercontinental Changsha.

Hotel is on top of a fancy mall and near very popular shopping district, great location. Hotel is very new inside. it actually still had new renovation/construction smell when I stayed… A few points I noticed: - ventilation was not very good in the shower and bathroom, room AC was a little weak and noisy. - Bed was clean and comfortable - great and very effective blackout curtains. - good and modern in room amenities - a little bit strange layout - nice clean gym - nice staff - spacious room - Despite of the constant noise and traffic downstairs, it was very quiet on the 15th floor! (Except AC noise…) Cleanliness, convenience,service are important to me, I will stay here again next time I visit!

Very warming and welcoming place! Everyone is ready to help even if we had language barrier they did there best to communicate! And there is a lot more here you can even have a hot water pedicure kinda thing in your room for soaking your feet and so much more items which you can have. There is nothing to worry about. And the ambience is just so modern yet close to nature loved it! Love from India 🥰

After many years, I visited Changsha for the second time. I first wanted to find a hotel near Wuyi Square, but I found that the hotels close to the subway station did not meet my expectations. Later, I searched for this Wyndham Garden, which is very close to the subway station. I walked a few dozen meters to the station. After checking in, I was quite satisfied with the room, but the floor was a little sticky when I entered the room. The housekeeping staff also said that they could clean it immediately, but it was late at night, so they asked them to clean it the next day. There are bottled water at the elevator entrance for self-service, which is very considerate. The cleaning ladies greeted me warmly. The buffet breakfast is good, with quite a lot of varieties and good taste.

Very good service in give National Forest guide direction For people who first time coming to Zhangjiajie like us, this hotel has very good service. They provide some staff that assist tourists to get a guide direction in Zhangjiajie National Forest route. This national forest park is very huge. The entrance ticket is available for 4 days visit. So you can imagine how big this area is. Therefore, if you do not have enough time, you need a brief information that helps us arrange the excellent routes so that we can get the point of view and enjoy it. That is the purpose of this staff, to help us, bravo! Thanks to Huan Huan, female staff, your instruction is awesome. The hotel room is spacious enough, but lacks of wardrobe. Breakfast is amazing with many varian cuisine. There is a free laundry service that is very helpful for long tourists like us. The kind thing is this hotel put drinking water (bottles) everywhere. It is very pleasant, so hotel guests do not worry about drinking anymore. One more satisfying thing is the drain shower. The water pressure is strong but soft. Getting our body washed with a treatment like this after a tiring journey is very enjoyable.

I stayed here for 2 night in late Nov 2024. The staff were welcoming us with warm smile & guidance. Ms. Hau help us upgrade my booking to a highest floor that enable us enjoying a cozy room.Thank you so much. The room was clean & daily necessities refilled adequately. The showering was good & the best thing was self-laundry which worthy us giving additional Credit. The breakfast was fair; limited variety & the corn drink was my favor. Hotel staff coordinated a local travel agent for us & made our travel plan become much easier.But their pillows were the worst things that spoiled my refreshment. This hotel would be my choice of next trip.

The hotel is located near the park entrance, Charming Xiangxi show and Wulingyuan city center. The hotel has a large selection of Chinese and Western food for its breakfast hotel. The room we received was large and spacious. Although the hotel is supposed to be non smoking, we found smoke smell entering our room. After we informed the front desk, they promptly arranged another room for us. Thanks to their service we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is conveniently situated walking distance from the cable car, close to the railway station and the airport. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nourishing and essential to the good start of our long mountain trips. We especially enjoyed the café near the front desk. While staying there, I recommend you to visit the 72 wonders house in Zhangjiajie - a folk type food and crafts place. We went on a Sunday, there was like a closing party and we had the best of times. 

I booked this hotel for my mom since my husband and I stayed there a few years ago and had an amazing experience. However, she said that no one would speak to her in any English (when we were there, everyone was very helpful and the manager was foreign). She also had a bad experience with a massage she booked. She thought she could charge it to the room, but the woman demanded cash, then once she paid, wouldn’t let her out of the room until she gave an extra tip. Apparently that was the only word she said in English the whole time. I’ve never been expected to tip in China, so this seems like they’re taking advantage of foreign guests who may not know better. The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of the national park, but the concierge tried to get her to take a taxi for way too much to a different gate. Luckily, she called me to ask if that was worth it and I told her, “no, don’t take a ¥50 taxi to another gate when you’re less than 1km from one of the main gates.” It just made her start to feel uncomfortable that everyone in the hotel was trying to trick her. It’s a shame because the hotel is lovely and the breakfast is actually quite good, which my mom said is still the case. But she had a very mixed experience where the hotel was great, but the staff didn’t make her feel well taken care of. Very different from my husband’s and my experience a few years ago.

The room facilities are complete, the room is warm and very new, the lobby is grand, the breakfast variety is rich, and there is a swimming pool. Wulingyuan District is very small, and it takes a few minutes to get to the East Gate of Forest Park by taxi. Tianzi Road is near the hotel and there are restaurants. I ate at three popular restaurants in three days, eating baby salamander, Yantou stewed chicken, and iron pot stewed fish. They were very delicious. After eating, I took a walk back to the hotel. The child was not used to the local climate and vomited in bed in the middle of the night. The service staff immediately came to change the new sheets. The service was very good.

The room service was enthusiastic and cleaned every day for three days. Breakfast can also be enjoyed in the executive lounge on the tenth floor. The dining environment is quieter and the variety is more diverse. It is also close to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway. Overall, I am very satisfied.

I rarely write the review, but this time I want to do it so much! It was better than 5* hotels that I’ve been too. (And I travel really a lot). The best hotel in my list. Hotel: it was super clean, nice, new, modern and cozy. I felt like I don’t want to leave. So warm. But the most important thing I’d like to mention is that people there are so hospitable and warm. Service is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. We arrived late so they gave us desserts and delicious snacks. They got our shoes to clean so we can wear them tomorrow. They were very attentive and helped us a lot. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and I will stay here again. Thank you so much.

Well located next to the park’s side entrance (less crowded). However, the food options around the area is quite limited and as we stayed for five nights got bored of eating all our meals in the hotel, we found ourselves constantly commuting to and fro from Wulingyuan for dinner. If you’re only staying for one or two nights, the hotel’s restaurant does serve decent food and you wouldn’t have the same issue as us. Though the place looks aesthetic in photos, we felt that the place is in need of better maintenance. e.g. peeling paint near the sink, floor skirting that looks like it’s about to fall out, patchy paint job. Because of this, we felt that the place is a little overpriced for the quality of the room we got. I think the rooms were probably much more impressive when the hotel first launched but the lack of maintenance got in the way. Despite all these, we did have a good time and the staff at the hotel were all very very helpful and sweet. A special shoutout to Xiao Tan for helping us arrange transportation, meals, and park entrance tickets.

The hotel is close to the Fog bridge in the Fenghuang ancient city. My room has the river view and two balconies, which is excellent for night view of the city. The room is spacious enough for four adults, but needs to share for one bathroom. The breakfast buffet only offered a simple Chinese breakfast with limited varieties. The hotel room was quiet at night time. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. The restaurant was excellent and offered authentic Hunan style food. Overall, this hotel experience was excellent.

Stepping into the lobby, a strong cultural atmosphere hits your face. From exquisite ethnic decorations to antique wooden furniture, every detail shows its unique charm. The room amazed me even more. It is spacious and bright, with reasonable layout and exquisite decoration. The bedding is soft and comfortable, allowing me to have sweet dreams every night. The facilities in the room are complete and of high quality, and the smart devices added a lot of convenience to my stay. The scenery outside the window can either see the meandering Tuojiang River or appreciate the simple buildings of the ancient city. Every scene is as beautiful as a postcard. 💁♀️Attentive service: The hotel staff are warm and thoughtful. From the patient answers at the front desk when checking in, to helping to plan the route to visit the ancient city, to the thoughtful special snacks provided, every move made me feel like home. During my trip, I accidentally got my clothes wet. After the staff learned about it, they quickly helped me dry it and solved my urgent need. This kind of meticulous care really touched me. This stay at Shanshui Lianxin Resort Hotel in Fenghuang Ancient City is an extremely beautiful memory of my trip. It is like a bright pearl, embedded in the beautiful land of Fenghuang Ancient City. I sincerely recommend it to everyone who plans to go to Fenghuang Ancient City. I believe you will also have an unforgettable journey here!

Amazing complementary pickup & dropoff service from the hotel! Great location, hotel was walking distance to Furong waterfall entrance. We were able to use the laundry facilities and the hotel was beautiful. We tried the hotel restaurant, the food was delicious & the service was excellent. The hotel staff are also helpful when you have a request. Overall we had a comfortable and memorable stay. Thank you!

The hotel is very good with a nice big clean room. It provides shuttle bus service every hour between 7:30 am to 14:30 pm from hotel to train station. But no pick up service. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The problem is its location. Me and my friend arrived at train station after 6pm. There is no taxi waiting for you. We waited for 30 minutes and finally shared the taxi with another 2 people. After checking in , we had problem to find a taxi to go to the center of ancient town. Although the staff helped us to call the taxi , it took about 45 minutes for the taxi to arrive. If you can have enough time or you have car, I recommend you to stay here. Otherwise, I suggest you to stay in the center of town.

A very beautiful hotel with lovely styled rooms and very helpful staff. Manager Wang's service was excellent. We had a language barrier but they still managed to arrange a pick-up and drop off to the high speed railway. The hotel is in a great location with a view of Fenghuang bridge from the room balcony. Unfortunately it is true what other reviewers say about the bathroom being poorly designed. Rather than a shower, it is a bath tub with a retractable shower head and water gets everywhere if you try to use it as a standing shower. It is also true that the noise from the streets, particularly the music from the bar next door, is very loud at night, but it stops at 23:30. However, we found these to be minor inconveniences in our stay, which was overall very romantic and hugely positive. We'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

Really nicely decorated hotel. Id say one of the best hotels in this region. Given only four stars as our room was quite strong with cigarette smell. We informed the staff about it and they said they would send someone to fix it. I think what they did was just opening the window which made it worse as the cigarette smell was stronger when we came back possibly because we were on the second floor and someone was smoking outside. We didnt bother to tell them again as it was late and we just wanted to sleep. There was also some sticky stain on the floor that we asked them to clean it but it was still there when we came back. Staff very friendly. A tea set is also provided.

I came from Northeast China to play. I don't have a high opinion of the scenic area, but the hotel is really good. The boys and girls at the front desk are very enthusiastic. I sincerely recommend everyone to stay here. You can see the ancient town while sitting on the balcony. Free fruits, car pick-up and drop-off, even to and from the scenic area, not just the pick-up station. The dinner ordered at the hotel is also very delicious and not expensive. Don't eat in the scenic area, order food at the hotel when you come out. The ones in the scenic area are all pushed by ”On the Waterside”. What is that? I ordered a cup of coffee for 58 yuan, and the milk was expired and flocculent. It's the worst coffee I've ever had in my life. Don't eat in the scenic area. It's terrible.

Every year during the Spring Festival, I have to cook and eat a lot of fish and meat at home. This year, I chose to travel to Fenghuang Ancient Town to celebrate the Spring Festival. I stayed at Fenghuang Kaisheng Hotel and found that many people celebrated the Spring Festival outside, and they were all happy with the whole family. The hotel room is spacious and tidy, and it is a whole house smart system. Just shout ”Xiaot Xiaot”, and you can open the curtains, TV, and air conditioner. It is a blessing for lazy people. You don’t have to get up to do anything. Enjoy it comfortably! The best thing is the robot delivery. If you want to order barbecue in the middle of the night, the robot will deliver it to you, which is very worry-free. In addition, the fragrance of the whole hotel is very high-end, and it is a very pleasant tea fragrance. I want to arrange the same one at home. I am very satisfied with the accommodation experience. Five-star recommendation😘

This is not the first time I have stayed here. Every time I stay here, the experience is different. I chose to stay at the Crown International Hotel during the Chinese New Year. As soon as I got off the car, I felt the festive atmosphere. The big red lanterns were hung high. When I entered the lobby, the front desk lady Cao Dan enthusiastically helped us check in and arranged a room upgrade. I felt warm in my heart. It is a great hotel! Very NICE service, the hotel has a superior location, rich breakfast, a good view in the room, and children's toiletries. The children like it very much. It is also convenient for travel. It is a very happy experience and I will come again next time!

The hotel is located next to the Fenghuang waiting station for the Maglev Train, about 2 kilometers away from the Hongqiao Bridge in Fenghuang Ancient Town. Because the hotel has just been renovated and opened, the facilities in the room are relatively new, the corridors in the room are lightly fragrant, and the sanitation is also quite clean. The hotel has a car to pick up and drop off at the scenic spot. The driver's service is quite good. The hotel also gave a round-trip ticket for two people on the Maglev Train. The shortcomings are that the check-in is slow, the addition and service of breakfast need to be improved, and the air conditioning in the room does not heat. Later, I called the front desk driver to come up and fix it in the middle of the night. Overall, I am satisfied and give a good review!
