Twinstar Hotel Reviews

Twinstar is very near Taichung TRA Station. Buses are also nearby. Malls and Shopping area is also nearby. I felt shortchanged when the photos show the veiw of the Taichung Station and a City View but received a room with wall of the Taroko Mall. The breakfast hall and rooms are a bit underwhelminh in terms of aesthetics, the cleanliness may also be questionable but their staff are friendly and attentive. I find the suppprt staff always available.

The location is great — it’s close to Taichung Train Station, which is very convenient. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. They greeted us warmly every time we passed by, which honestly felt quite impressed — their attitude is definitely a big plus! However, when we entered the room, there was an unpleasant smell, possibly due to the carpet or the aging condition of the hotel — you can definitely feel its age. A simple renovation would make a big difference. They provide a very basic breakfast every morning — mainly eggs, toast and basis ********* breakfast. Once again, the staff’s attitude really stands out and adds value to the overall experience. Without it, I might consider staying elsewhere for next visit in Taichung.

The location of the hotel was very good as it was near Taichung train station and beside it was a huge shopping mall. The room was comfortable and free upgrade was given to me.

Very nice and friendly staff, good location. Hotel facilities are old but it doesn’t bother me because everything works well and clean.

Very good location just 3 minutes away from train station.Good  service from the staff and beside a big mall with food and supermarket .Basic breakfast provided

The hotel is located near city centre and close to train, bus station.  From the hotel room you can see the train station.  Behind the hotel is a shopping mall  and plenty of food hall and restaurants.  But no laundry at the hotel and there is a street laundry about 400 m away.  The bathroom orientation is a bit awkward.

Room facilities: the room was very old. Full of mold on ceiling and air vents. The fridge door was rusted . Long air with hair bands hung at basin. Strong bad odor in room. Food choice at breakfast is not much. Rice cooker was empty. Coffee maker pumped out hot water only In general, I wondered I go back into 30 years ago. Staff are very nice.

The location is good, very near to Taichung Railway Station and there a Taroko mall just next door. Con. Breakfast is always the same for our 5 nights stays without any changes.

All of the people who work on the building is very friendly. They also give me a bunch of options when it comes to getting a room.
