Cedar Glen Lodge

Environment Location: Close to beach or lake, convenient location with easy access to coffee shops and small stores. Some rooms have fully equipped kitchens. Offers facilities like pool, jacuzzi and fire pit.

The "extras" are what make Cedar Glen shine. Friendly service and banter from Liam and Shawn; exterior activities like a hot tub, putting green, fire pit and s'mores; lending items like sand chairs, coolers and umbrellas for the beaches; and luxury bath soaps all make for a comfortable stay. As others have said, there is room for improvement on the maintenance front. While the landscaping directly in front of the buildings was lovely. Other areas contained dead plants or bare ground. The pool definitely needs resurfacing, and the rooms need a fresh coat of paint and some updated--or at least thematically consitent--decor. That said, the small rooms are clean and have good storage, the fridge and microwave in the king lodge room are big and new, and the bed is soft if you like that type. Compared to other area lodging we would stay here again.

Very very nice staff who went out of their way each time we ask for something. Even got to know their names Geraldine Samantha Liam and Shawn. The place has all kinds of thoughtful aspects of the room for needs and clean.
