What we love about the place: 1.Customer Service - Impeccable, warm, approachable and attentive. This is what we loved the most! :) 2.Overall Ambience - We went on a Thursday so we were the only guests in the boutique hotel. Total of 9 rooms and ours was located on the other side of the second floor. Felt like home through and through; and we woke up feeling like we weren’t in a hotel at all. 3.Bed and Sheets - Comfortable and high quality! 100/10. Slept like babies! 4.Bedroom - It was so spacious you can literally sprint from end to end. Love that it has three balconies to enjoy the low views too. We liked the windows spread across the parallel wall so it didn’t feel cramped. It wasn’t cold at all in Tagaytay but it definitely was in the room. 5.Bathroom - Plus plus plus points for the windows from end to end. Nice view while bathing in the tub. 6.Pool - Heated so it feels very nice to swim in it. The ambience is pretty great too except for the building being constructed infront. Over time, I think it would really disrupt the view from 8suites. Improvements (considering how much you're paying for a night, these improvements would be best to be addressed to make it totally worth it. It's the attention to the detail that makes the overall stay more thoughtful and a real bang for the buck) 1.Bathroom Drain - Leaks whenever bath tub is used. Would flow to the door to the bedroom so the bottom of the curtain would be soaking wet too; no bath rugs at the shower and bath tub area and it’s far from each other so need to walk. The shower area would be super wet and the rest of the space going to the bathtub. Drainage system could definitely be better. 2.Dresser - Include trashcan since the only one in the bathroom is the one beside the toilet 3.Bath tub - would be nice to include a welcome bath bomb or petals. 4.Bathroom floors & blinds - the corners of the floors obviously need some TLC. They look a bit worn out. 5.Bedroom headboard / light - Half of it was broken. Obviously needs to be fixed for it to be utilized properly. 6.Side table - Trash can would be nice. More thoughtful. 7.Single couch - Big hole on it. So when you sit, it sinks easily. 8.Balconies - Two chairs would be nice to include also. 9.Dresser cabinet - Needs to be oiled. 10.Food - Pricey and much better to order via Grab or go to the city proper. Breakfast was so-so. Tapa was a bit gummy. Serving size is okay. Juice could be better than a powdered drink. 11.Door lock - Not so secured. It's just the typical door knob with the push-lock. Nice to have: - Yoga Mat to enjoy the balconies and spacious room - Better welcome drinks than just powdered juice drinks considering the cost per night. Overall, we'd still come back but hopefully, they can make those nice, thoughtful improvements to get more of your money's worth as it's more than 5k a night (more than a hotel room), devil is in the details. Next time, we'll probably stay at the Sweetest Suite. Regardless though, it'
