Radisson Hotel Szklarska Poreba

This would be a really nice hotel but it’s very poorly managed. Firstly - upon arrival there was a radisson rewards member front office desk (as it’s part of my vip membership - not to wait for the check-in) but nobody cares about it - we stood there, even had a few eye contacts with the receptionist but she chose to ignore me. Secondly - it has never happened to me in Radisson that they would charge a vip member for parking - we already do spend a lot in your hotels, free parking wouldn’t ruin your cashflow. Thirdly, we had a specific inquiry for a dinner so the receptionist send us to search for F&B manager - since we haven’t found her, we asked a waiter but instead of calling the F&B he insisted that we have to talk to him which was pointless as he was incapable of solving our inquiry (the F&B lady saw that, even spoke to the waiter in polish but also chose to ignore the problem instead of solving it as a manager). Next day we’ve decided to have a desser at the lobby - one would believe how hard is to order something in a half empty lobby bar - when we went to pay we’ve discovered that the F&B manager was playing on her phone and after seeing us was very annoyed to do the payment with us. The wellness has no towels for the guest and you can’t take from the room so make sure you bring your own. Also it’s so small that you have like 5% chance to find a spot to sit there. Lastly - that we haven’t got an upgrade is totally fine and understandable due to the full capacity, but that we haven’t even recieved the mountain view room that I asked for was also quite disappointing. Only positive was the 15% discount on F&B which worked surprisingly well here. And I did appreciate the welcome snacks on the room (that’s why the second star). We’ve also recieved a special breakfast offer on our 2nd breakfast which was nice but why can’t they give it already from the begining is something I don’t get.

This stay has been one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. After a long 30 hours journey to get this town, we arrived to find no assistance with our luggage and were placed in a corner room facing a construction site, even though we booked well in advance and clearly informed the hotel of our late arrival and the special purpose of our visit. When we asked for a change, we were met with rigid attitudes and a “policy” that had never been explained. The following day, after hours of discussion, we were finally moved — but again, no help was offered. We had to carry our bags ourselves, and shockingly, the room corridor lights were turned off by front desk while we were still moving. Whether intentional or not, it felt extremely disrespectful. Adding to this, the walls are very thin. We could clearly hear conversations, loud voices, and even people screaming in nearby rooms, while children were playing close by. There was no sound privacy or rest, which made the entire experience even more stressful. There was no apology, no follow-up, no genuine care. The tone throughout was cold and dismissive. What was meant to be a peaceful two-week stay turned into stress and frustration. We once loved this hotel and recommended it to others, but this visit has completely changed that. It’s painful to see how true hospitality and warmth have disappeared. We sincerely hope management will reflect and rebuild the service culture and comfort that once made this place special.

Exceptional hotel in terms of price/quality indicator. Decent breakfast with variety of dishes (including local dishes & cheese), very good spa facilities and a great view from the window (if your room is located on the mountain sight). The property itself is new and sustained in perfect condition. The staff is also doing a good job.

Our stay at Radisson Szklarska Poręba was absolutely excellent. The hotel combines modern design with comfort, warmth, and a high standard of service that made us feel welcomed from the very first moment. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished – with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The wellness area was a highlight: relaxing, clean, and beautifully designed. The pool and sauna areas were never overcrowded, and the atmosphere was perfect after a day of hiking or skiing. Breakfast was another high point – generous, varied, and of great quality. Plenty of both local and international options, with fresh ingredients and excellent coffee. Staff were polite, professional, and always ready to help. Whether it was at reception, in the restaurant, or housekeeping, everyone contributed to a smooth and enjoyable experience. We’d absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Szklarska Poręba – whether for nature, skiing, or just a relaxing weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

Can’t find any negative aspects of our stay there: • close to nature, mountain trails, still far from the city hustle and bustle; its own green area ＞ perfect for those seeking a relaxing, quiet place; • not too big hotel, with friendly, efficient staff (restaurant, room service, reception desk); • rooms tidied on a daily basis; clean, light, modern; • not far away from the railway station - possible to organise train trips to different places. Alternatively, go one way by train and hike in the mountains back to the hotel; • both breakfast and dinner with good choice of food. Here compliments to the chef for the FRUIT SELECTION: wide selection of cut (grapefruits, oranges, pineapples, watermelons) and whole fruit is a good & healthy alternative for cakes or other sweet snacks.
