We want to thank the entire staff here at the Courtyard Marriott for making our wedding weekend getaway along with our out of town guests who booked rooms here so wonderful!! Bethany (the sales manager) was spectacular in the whole coordination process and very prompt with responses in emails! Courtney, Brianna, Morgan and Mark (the front desk supervisor) were all so warm, friendly and hospitable helping hand out our “hotel welcome” guest bags for our wedding as our guests arrived. My new husband and myself even got a chance to chit chat with Kristin and Mel (assistant general manager) for a while and they are absolutely amazing! I worked at this exact hotel 12 years ago! Keep up the wonderful work. My new husband and myself look forward in staying here to celebrate our anniversary every year and reminisce on our magical weekend! Thank you for the memories!

Stayed at the courtyard for one night for business. Great location near restaurants. Friendly check-in, comfortable bed, quiet room. Nice fitness center. Only issue is the bathroom is a little run down, cracks around handle, no lotion. Would stay here again due to quiet, location, and friendliness

In town for the solar eclipse and I was fortunate to have a room, however, it was not a good experience. The location is good and you have the standard Marriott amenities, but the walls are paper thin and the room was not fully cleaned when we arrived. We found a Mott’s fruit snack wrapper by the bed, and a wine glass was on the floor just outside the door. We had to wipe down all the surfaces to feel clean. The walls are really thin and neighbors are easy to hear - remember they hear you too! The street noise is pretty bad. I think they are understaffed and they try and nickle and dime you. For example, the free coffee in the lobby disappears in the morning because they want you to buy the breakfast. There is a $14 parking fee for self-park, but they don’t tell you that at check-in. There are better managed Marriotts than this one. I actually haven’t written a review in years but felt it was merited for this one. I hope it helps others.

The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and professional. The breakfast was expensive but delicious. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on the outside noise from the bar and street. We were constantly woken up from 10pm-2am due screaming, loud music, police sirens, and a fight that broke out on the street in front of our room. Aside from the noise, it was a pleasant stay in terms of the room and hotel itself.

I arrived at Marriott Syracuse Downtown Armory 300 W Fayette Street; According to my Hotel reservation confirmation email. My daughter & I unloaded our car, My daughter pulled our luggage into the hotel. I recently had foot surgery and require a cane & very obvious medical boot on 1 foot. We approached the check-in desk, gave my information and the staff member says, " Sorry, but your reserved at the hotel across town, about 5 blocks away." I asked her to confirm, even showed her my email with the address we were currently standing at, and she still insisted I should be across town. So we walked out, repacked the car, drove across town, parking in the parking garage that was a block away, unloaded the car and pulled all the luggage 1 block (in the rain) to the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. The check-in desk there said "I'm sorry, but your reservation is for the Marriott at 300 W Fayette Street." I told her I was just there; and they told me to come here, I asked her to call them and confirm, and she did." We had to then pull all the luggage 1 block back to the parking garage in the rain; reload the car and head BACK to the original Marriott we arrived at. I went back to the same woman; she didn't look at me, however checked us in with no problem. I asked for a manager to see if we can get help with transportation to my daughters Team Banquet because this whole mix up caused us to be late. She said, sorry, we cant order you a taxi or an uber, and we do not have a shuttle. I said, "I am just a few weeks out of foot surgery, Your staff told me the wrong information and had me walking far more than I should be. My foot is in pain, and now my daughter is late to her banquet, when we had originally arrived 1.5 hours early. Is there anything you can do to please help us out." She looked at me like I was crazy & said, "Sorry, no. It seems you booked through a 3rd party, so we cant offer you any credit either." This is not true, I booked through Marriott. Later that night my foot was swelled up like a balloon, I have to bury it in ice. The Manager said she would comp my parking and didn't, I was charged the $14 anyway. Awful service, cannot own their mistakes. I don't think I was asking much by just asking for HELP getting a ride to the banquet a few blocks away. Its a shame because the Hotel was nice, Room was nice & clean.. But the could literally careless about putting their guests through the ringer.

Clean and nice but don't stay if you want to sleep! We came for a cuse basket ball game with our 2 kids. The hotel is clean and nice but it was a Friday night and we were up the entire night with the noise from outside. There are bars across the street and all night we heard yelling, music blasting and people screaming. Bring a noise machine or ear plugs if you stay here. Otherwise no complaints but noise was awful.

Booked a 1 Bedroom King suite just for one night for something too over Christmas break - as we were spending the day at Destiny with our 6 year old. The location of this courtyard is great, as it’s right in downtown. But the facility itself i’d rank as poor and would not stay here again. The room is warn down, dated with stains on furniture and carpet and just overall somewhat grungy. We also used the pool - which was on residence inn side that is being remodeled and the quality echoed the room, warm down not overly welcoming. The bartender was kind and didn’t charge me the extra $6 for ice in my Tito’s and Tonic 🤷‍♂️- so at least that was only $11.50… I don’t expect too much from a Courtyard but this is definitely at the bottom of the barrel. Stay here just if your desperate for a place to crash overnight but not to relax with your family.

We have been long time customers of this hotel - about 9 years to be exact. The hotel has hit rock bottom during our last visit: - They upgraded us to a suite without asking (as they were sold out) and the suite was basically a large empty living room with a not-so-comfortable couch. Very ugly and not comfortable at all. Wish they did not upgrade us. - They did not clean our room (told the front desk so they sent us a couple of towels) - You can tell they are understaffed - There were peanut shells on common area rug - no cleaning being done - Charged us $15/night incl tax for self parking our car Will be looking for a new place in Syracuse. Lady at the front desk said they are considering a major renovation to the hotel. They should move ahead with that asap.
