Collegian Hotel & Suites, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

This hotel is dated and it shows, room had no A/C and Lobby had none either. So no relief and it just wasn’t my room. ! Room was in rough shape for sure, you can see from the pictures. Staff was nice but couldn’t do much with what they have. No gym, no breakfast! Low income housing is going in next door in the high rise portion, so they lost the nice rooms.

The property is conveniently located between Syracuse University and downtown, easily accessible to the interstates. The room was an oversized king bed/sofa sleeper suite that was plenty roomy and included a mini fridge. Parking is on-site and safe. The hotel restaurant and bar were fun with an excellent price point, and we enjoyed the outdoor seating area! If you are in Syracuse, this property is an excellent option.

There was no A/C in the first room. They offered us 2 options of a fan or a new room. I could not believe they offered a fan as a resolution. They moved us to a new room that was only marginally better. The A/C still was not cold. The only reason why we stayed was because it was only 1 night. The hallways were hot too. When we tried to call the front desk, we realized the phone in the room didn't work. The towel rack was falling off the wall. There were discrepancies between the rooms furniture. The first room only had about 10 channels on the TV, and at least 4 were in Spanish. The second room they put us in had all the channels we expect to see in a hotel. The toilets are EXTREMELY low to the ground.
