The Megaboom Hotel is one of the cleanest hotels I stay in ; when I visit Sydney The staff are excellent and always greet you with welcoming words - The position of the hotel is second to none Q V B ;Light rail Opera House Darling Harbour Train Station all within a short walking distance to the Megaboom Hotel 

I arrived after check-in and got upgraded from a single room to a king size bed! The shower was hot, the tv channels limited, but the bed was comfy. I had a 8am outbound flight and nobody was behind the counter to return my cash deposit upon early checkout. Sad face.

Excellent location, great staff and a free upgrade, cannot complain at all and will be back.

Good location for staying nearby QVB, town hall, ferry. No toothpaste brush, sleepers remember to bring own.

Absolutely disgusting and heartless Business to deal with, family emergency and they refuse to cancel my booking. Don't be fooled but their supposed welcome, "Warm Regards, Megaboom Hotel Reception" bottom feeders have better morals than these low life’s. Anything at any expense to make a buck.

This hotel is all about the location and price which are both great. It's no frills beyond that, but I'd still recommend it as a good value accommodation in the heart of sydney

Not a good value, better choose somewhere further but cleaner. The facilities in this hotel are very old, weird smell in the room, poor quality on everything, the mattress makes a lot of noises…. I didn’t sleep at all the whole night. Cannot recommend it at all.

Perfect, very convenient location right in the center of Sydney. They upgraded me and let me check in a couple of hours in advance. Thanks to Nella for her kindness!

Staff are very helpful and location can’t be beaten.

The hotel room was tidy and ample for my needs solo traveling, with my own private space for rest and freshening up. The pillows were not very comfortable for me, but I tend to be fussy with pillows in general so no big deal (probably best to bring my own)! Great location, close walking distance to all you need in the city centre, with affordable Thai and Nepalese food across the road and several good coffee shops nearby. Friendly staff at reception and they were happy to let me stay in the lobby to do work on my laptop for several hours after my checkout. Overall good value for money and highly recommend if you need somewhere to stay on a moderate budget without needing to share facilities with other travelers.
