Intercontinental Hotel & Resorts Properties in Sydney

There was a slight hiccup during check-in, but thankfully, Trip.com staff were incredibly proactive in communicating and resolving the issue, allowing me to smoothly check into a sea-view room that evening. The hotel service was exceptionally warm, even upgrading my room to a 270-degree panoramic view room. The expansive views made for an excellent experience. The only minor downside was that the hotel pool wasn't open yet, but you could get tickets for the beachfront pool at the front desk, which was just a 10-minute walk away.

This is my second stay at the InterContinental; I came once the year before last, and overall it was pretty good then. This time, the front desk lady was beautiful and accommodating. We arrived early, and our rooms weren't ready yet. We had booked two rooms, and I asked if we could have one room first to rest since we had a baby. The front desk was happy to provide a room for us. The pool isn't big, but the view is excellent. The breakfast was incredibly rich, they even had siu mai, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It's definitely worth coming back again.

The hotel is conveniently located, close to the beach and a popular coffee shop. The service is good and the food is good. Except for the two rooms where the automatic curtains could not be opened and took a long time to repair (probably because the hotel is not new after all, but it can be seen that the maintenance is quite good), and Ctrip booked the wrong room type, the rest is generally OK. Ctrip booked the wrong room, which is not the hotel's fault, but it does affect the experience. The hotel could not give me the room because the room type I booked was fully booked that day, but the attitude of the front desk to try to solve the issue is quite good. The hotel staff are very nice, so the overall experience is still OK.
