Made to feel welcome right from the start . Very helpful service gave us nice relaxing feel . Nice warm open log fire permanently lit helped give us a cozy feel . Very pretty village well worth visiting , lovely paths and streams all round village . Beautiful church and cemetery . So many of the houses were thatched which adds to the charm

I was staying at a nearby Travelodge and the Greyhound Inn was on a list of recommended places to eat. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. I had Fillet Steak with Stilton and Port Sauce off the Specials Board. It came with new potatoes and a perfectly cooked selection of vegetables. Excellent well kept beers as well. Highly recommended.

Stayed overnight in this lovely inn, the room was spotless and well equipped, breakfast was first class and the staff were brilliant and friendly. will defiantly use again.

Gem of a pub and B&B
What a lovely village pub. The staff were really friendly and breakfast was excellent. The room was a little tired and a little small, but good value for money. Would certainly visit again.

A beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well!

On our way home from weekend away … phoned ahead … what time does your kitchen close -2pm said the lady. We arrived at 1354… kitchen closed - and despite asking it was a no! Bar man apologetic but really if there is a time it’s a time Poor customer service - so if you phone ahead - they may or may not be open!

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, and the service was absolutely amazing. Thea was fantastic and really made the experience special. The food was great, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The personal touch throughout the stay was a breath of fresh air.

Good choice while house-hunting in the area. Quiet clean room with ample breakfast options and a good restaurant for an evening meal. Missed having a shower - bath only.

Charming Place
A very lovely pub in a picturesque village. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, very good food and a broad selection of wines and beers. I arrived just in time for the last dinner order, thankfully. Breakfast was included in my stay and was also very nice. The pub is very homely, warmly lit and has a classic village inn feel. The bathroom in my room could probably benefit from a slight cosmetic improvement but that is a minor point on what was overall a pleasant but brief stay.
