Absolutely stunning and a magical place. Beautiful hotel, superb staff and fabulous grounds. A walk around the lakes, birds of prey demonstration, quick change into the spotless roomy spa, complementary glass of red wine in front of one of the multiple open fires. Swinton Hotel is the top of our list of magical places to stay, we loved it!

The hotel is exceptionally beautiful. A palacious stately home with gorgeous grounds . It's a treat to spend time in such surroundings. I would like to mention one member of managerial staff John Smith , who was a true professional and very respectful when dealing with an issue we had, efficiently and thoroughly with kindness and providing excellent customer service recovery.i have stayed in many spa hotels but this rates at one of the most luxurious.

Gorgeous place to stay, set in lovely extensive grounds, with lots of unique experiences on offer. The chef’s table experience is a must! Good quality spa treatments and relaxing facilities, luxurious rooms. They even had hammocks set up amidst the trees for a spot of tree bathing wellness. We left feeling nourished with a sense of well-being.

We booked a night away using an offer from Swinton estate so were able to stay in the Ripon suite. Our room was beautiful and peaceful with a lovely view. We enjoyed a walk around the woods, a relax in the spa and top quality small plates in the Terrace. Yes a lovely relax.

A grand hotel with lots of homely touches. Very helpful and friendly staff and loads to do! Wish we could have made the most of the grounds and other activities but time didn't allow. Will definitely be back soon!

Bit of a mixed bag. The parkland is stunning, and we got the added bonus that we caught a trial run of the new Christmas illuminations, which were lovely. The spa was pretty good, and we enjoyed lunch in the terrace restaurant. Many of the staff, as usual, were exemplary, especially the person who seemed to be running the spa single-handedly. However the room we stayed in was very cold, very tired, and several things weren’t working properly. The room was advertised as a suite, but the sitting room was poor, with an uncomfortable bed sofa - if we hadn’t had a half price deal we would have felt short changed. Breakfast in Samuels was chaotic, it took nearly an hour to get our order served.
