A group of 13 stated stayed at Swinton Grange and Low Swinton which were absolutely fabulous. Comfy beds, good quality bedding and beds, clean - fabulous extras with dressing gowns, shampoo, body wash, bread, milk. Wonderful. Our disappointment was the Sunday lunch in the hotel. We had booked for our sisters 60th and nothing to celebrate this, service slow and at times missing, food was on a whole good - although the beef wasn’t just rare it was raw and cold. Service in the restaurant was slow and ordering two glasses of champagne we are still waiting for them. It’s a shame that the hotel is letting down other aspects of this estate. Those using the spa were happy and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’d have given a 3 star but the accommodation was wonderful and I can’t recommend highly enough.
