Absolutely stunning and a magical place. Beautiful hotel, superb staff and fabulous grounds. A walk around the lakes, birds of prey demonstration, quick change into the spotless roomy spa, complementary glass of red wine in front of one of the multiple open fires. Swinton Hotel is the top of our list of magical places to stay, we loved it!

The hotel is exceptionally beautiful. A palacious stately home with gorgeous grounds . It's a treat to spend time in such surroundings. I would like to mention one member of managerial staff John Smith , who was a true professional and very respectful when dealing with an issue we had, efficiently and thoroughly with kindness and providing excellent customer service recovery.i have stayed in many spa hotels but this rates at one of the most luxurious.

Gorgeous place to stay, set in lovely extensive grounds, with lots of unique experiences on offer. The chef’s table experience is a must! Good quality spa treatments and relaxing facilities, luxurious rooms. They even had hammocks set up amidst the trees for a spot of tree bathing wellness. We left feeling nourished with a sense of well-being.

A trip to get me in the Christmas spirit. Wreath making at Swinton Park is a great way to kick off the festive season, highly recommend with a group of friends. We also booked one of the cottages, it easily slept 8 of us, and had so many facilities - hot tub, log burner, large social kitchen, impressive dining room and comfortable beds. A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. It was such a treat.

Our 4th stay, we love Swinton and its rugged charm, creaky floors and relaxed dress code. Staff are friendly, professional and the vintage styling of the hotel is comforting, balanced with smarter contemporary areas like the spa/country club. The pool is always busy but time it right and you can enjoy an outdoor lounger with hot water bottle and cosy woollen throws. The food in Samuels was delicious, that seasonal souffle dessert so yummy! Fantastic woodland walks, with deer views, bring your wellies and make use of the Boot Room. We will return.

We attended the excellent wreath making day followed by a wonderful2 course lunch in Samuel’s. The hotel looked beautifully festive and the friendly staff made us all very welcome. Out of the 7 friends 4 of us had dietary needs and these were all catered for which was great. We then made our way to Swinton Grange cottage for our stay. Wow what can we say. The cottage was incredible. Beautifully decorated and appointed. It was very clean and the hot tub was ready to go. We had a great stay catching up in the cosy and charming cottage. It had plenty of room for the 7 of us with 4 bathrooms so no queuing for the shower! We are already planning our next stay.

We headed here with some friends to celebrate my 40tj birthday, we stayed in the Low Swinton Cottage which was lovely, so well equipped and comfortable. My husband and friends had a great time shooting, the spa was fantastic and the Chefs Table was a fantastic experience and some of the best food I've ever tasted. We also so lots of activities for families and children. We will be returning!
