We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel does not look that great from the back when you drive into the parking lot but it is complete fine. The hotel faces a busy road. We recommend having a room which doesn't face the busy road. Also we had our son with us who sleeps in our bed. The receptionist said that families usually sleep on the ground floor in twin rooms however we were able to have a double room on the first floor. The room was a great size. The bed was very big. The mattress was quite firm. I usually like firm mattresses but it was too firm for me. The hotel is in a handy place for Manchester centre with many frequent buses even late at night. We stayed here for a concert. The breakfast was preordered from a list and pretty basic. We ordered a vegetarian breakfast the night before but both mornings they didnt have it available.

Excellent little hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Clean and comfortable, the restaurant next door (Albert’s) is excellent especially as we took advantage of the 2 courses for £15.95 12-5pm Mon-Fri ,12-3pm Saturday. We stayed here for the Springsteen concert, parked our car and used Über to the concert after our excellent meal. The hotel offers FREE grab & go breakfast which has a few options, we chose the hot sandwiches and they did what they said on the package. There was coffee, tea & hot chocolate in the room and bottled water provided. A coffee station in reception with comfortable seating area. Would definitely stay here again

Great Hotel, nice clean rooms, lovely staff. Short Uber ride to Heaton Park. Really enjoyed the veggie bap for breakfast. So many little extras that are available from reception. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I am in the area.

Okay so i'm a bit of a hotel snob but the Marriot was fully booked and the Novotel didn't appeal at the price. So as i was working just a one mile walk away this place popped up in my searches. VERY VERY HAPPY! Good sized rooms, Basic, Clean and good wifi (all i really needed). Price was excellent! Reception was small, staff were so friendly and simple breakfast was prompt. Next door was the 'GEM' ....Alberts bar (not open Mondays), amazing menu, gorgeous food, access from the hotel directly. This made up for the hotel being basic. HELLO HOTEL? WELL THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT GOODBYE FROM ME! See you soon. Stephen

The hotel is just outside the city, close enough for us to get an Uber into Manchester. It is basic but clean enough, the staff were really friendly. On check-out day we were able to leave our car parked in the car park and take an Uber into Manchester, much more convenient, it was nice knowing the car was safe at the hotel. Breakfast was again basic, but served quickly and extremely politely by the guy on reception. Overall this hotel is perfect for a one night stay for business purpose’s.
