The hotel was well located as we visited friends in nearby Wootton Basset - reception was courteous and efficient in our check in… we asked for a room way from the lifts and this request was delivered.
The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Air conditioning worked perfectly given it’s been a very hot few days!
Breakfast the following morning had plenty choices and tables were clean and cleared up quickly. Staff in restaurant were very efficient and courteous. Express check- in was good too. Overall a great stay and serves us well.

The room is clean and tidy, the environment is quiet, the service is standard, and the parking is convenient. The hotel is likely to go through a toll tunnel to the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, and there is no obvious sign. Please pay attention when driving. Good overall stay , very clean hotel and friendly staff. Definitely worth the money. My only negative is the mattresses are spring so can feel quite hard and at night the doors can be loud if not shut gently!
