Rica MaffieWe arrived a little earlier than expected, but the front desk staff were very friendly and kindly prepared a room for me. The view was exactly what I had hoped for, a room overlooking the port and the sea, which looked beautiful during the daytime.
Luckily, there was also an event happening nearby, so I got to enjoy a lovely fireworks display from the room as well.
The area stayed quiet and relaxing at night, making it a very comfortable stay. I’d happily come back again.

Guest UserFirst off, as other reviews mentioned, the lobby guard was very friendly and opened the door for us. The breakfast was decent, and the facilities were cleaner than I expected. However, this price point just doesn't feel right for a hotel in Southeast Asia, LOL. One thing that was disappointing was that the shower drain was clogged. Even after just one person showered, the water overflowed, and since there's no threshold in the bathroom, it almost flooded the bedroom/entrance area. When the second person showered, they had to turn the water off periodically. I wondered why it was clogged, and then I saw that after the first shower, the shower filter was about a third full of hair/gunk. I specifically chose this place because other hotels had reviews about hair in the drain, but this one didn't. Turns out, it was even worse here. At this level, they must be getting a lot of complaints, especially for a 5-star hotel. This should be a mandatory cleaning item every time, but it wasn't cleaned. It was astonishing that a manager had to come the next morning and clean it with a toothbrush.

Guest UserThe hotel's hardware facilities are pretty standard. The dinner buffet offers decent value for money. However, the hotel's room service is quite rigid. My plans changed, and I wouldn't be able to use the breakfast. I had communicated this four or five days in advance, asking to switch breakfast for dinner or upgrade to a room without breakfast. But the hotel lacked flexible management and consistently refused. I'm very dissatisfied with this aspect.

Guest UserThe location is great, about a 10-minute taxi ride to Ayana and SM Shopping Center. The first floor has a variety of restaurants including pasta, Japanese food, gelato, and pizza. There's also a clean 7-Eleven and a supermarket. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The bed was narrow, only 80cm wide, which I think would be too small for men. The shower didn't have hot water, just slightly warm, and the drain was clogged, so the water didn't flow well. The kitchen and large refrigerator were a big plus; you can buy groceries from the basement supermarket and cook. I accidentally broke a glass in the room, but they cleaned it up meticulously, which I appreciate. If the shower had hot water, this would be an absolutely perfect hotel. I especially recommend it because the staff are so pleasant. I felt safe staying here and had no trouble with meals, so I give it an 80%. The only downside was the shower temperature. Thank you for your hospitality.

Anonymous UserGreat Stay with Excellent Breakfast
I had a great experience staying at Bayfront Hotel Capitol Cebu. The room was comfortable and I really appreciated that they had a Netflix subscription available in the room, which was a great bonus and made the stay even more relaxing.
I wasn't able to use the swimming pool during my stay, so I can't comment much on that. I also wasn't able to ask for the Wi-Fi password, so I wasn't able to use the Wi-Fi during my stay.
One of the highlights for me was the breakfast buffet. It had a pretty decent selection of food, and I really enjoyed having breakfast there.
There were some ongoing repairs during our visit, which was a minor inconvenience, but it didn't significantly affect our overall experience.
Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Anna_BaranovaWe stayed for 6 hours before our flight in a triple room in the building opposite the one with the pool. The room was indeed small, but clean, modern, and well-designed. It had a desk with a chair if you needed to use a laptop, and lockers to store your belongings. Clean white bedding, towels, comfortable new mattresses and pillows, a large window, a bottle of water per person, shampoo, soap, and toothbrushes were provided. The urban design didn't bother us at all – in fact, it was a pleasant change after traveling through rural areas. The reception desk works very efficiently, there's a cafe downstairs, and a restaurant on the rooftop, along with a small pool and a nice area to sit in the evening with city views. The location is convenient, with a 7/11, places to eat, and drink all just a stone's throw away. There's also security. It's 3 km to Ayala Center (about 100 pesos by Grab). Overall, a very good impression. An excellent option for 1-2 nights.

The lobby looked great at first glance, but it's an apartment hotel upstairs, and the elevator usually takes a while because people are constantly going in and out. There are many floors, and it's quite high up, making the elevator ride feel a bit scary. The room appeared clean at first glance, but you could tell from the corners that there was dust. A quick wipe of the tissue sofa revealed it was quite dirty. One side of the bed was sunken in from being sat on too much; I'd suggest rotating the mattress or flipping it over to extend its use. The toiletries containers were pretty useless. Although it felt like the location was near a lively area, it was actually quite a distance away. My heart sank when the taxi drove in; the vicinity was quite desolate, so you need to buy everything you need before arriving, as there are absolutely no convenience stores nearby.

NataliaOleAn Unforgettable Stay - Excellent Hotel & Exceptional Tours!
I recently stayed at Palette Cebu The Almonds Boutique Aparthotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. The building is brand new, modern, and perfectly located next to a shopping mall and jeepney stops. It offers a peaceful, quiet atmosphere while remaining just a stone's throw away from the bustling Cebu city center. The rooms are equipped with incredibly comfortable beds and highly efficient air conditioning, ensuring a great night's sleep. The swimming pool is also a fantastic bonus to unwind after a day of exploring. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They can seamlessly arrange airport transfers and customized day trips. I highly recommend booking their tour to Moalboal to swim with turtles. My guide, Kim, made it an unforgettable day that will stay in my memory for a long time. Beyond the beautiful sights and delicious local food, Kim shared deep insights into Philippine history, the economic situation, and the realities of daily life in the country. To top it all off, the owner runs the ”Children of Asia” foundation. She is an incredibly helpful, good-hearted person with high moral standards. All of these qualities ensure the entire hotel operations run flawlessly. I recommend this place 100%!
