Widus Inn

My husband and I were starting a road trip to Toronto. Our first night I had us booked into Widus Inn as our stopover before driving to Winnipeg the next day. I had read that the new owner had done some renovations, and decided to risk it. I have to say we were EXTREMELY PLEASED with this choice. Not only was I called that afternoon to confirm our arrival, but the room was huge, bedding new and clean, very comfortable mattress, toiletries available for shower. Also out the hall door was a little practice green for putting!!!, and a water dispenser, ice machine, and coffee maker. We don't usually stay at motels. But this experience taught me that you don't need to spend big bucks to enjoy a clean, quiet, convenient night. Especially when it is just for one night. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and should anyone need a stopover in Swift Current book it.

I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area. Wow! I was so impressed with my stay. From unloading luggage at my door (so easy!) to realizing the quality of the bedding it was a fantastic experience.

Very clean and comfortable! Friendly service. The pipes are very noisy anytime someone ran water; hallway noise is also very loud in the room. Overall it was a nice stay and I had an amazing sleep.

An unassuming little motel. My room was lovely and clean. The staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. I go through Swift current twice a year, and I will be staying here again:)

Very quiet. The room was very clean. Restaurants were within walking distance. I was able to park right in front of the room.
