So much thought has gone into every aspect of a stay here something to remember. On a chilly June morning it was lovely to have the fire lit in the breakfast room. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of lovely edibles from the orchards .. best marmalade .. EVER! We stupidly left some articles in the wardrobe and the estate office contacted us to advise and made plans to forward our items to a future stop before we head home. This is a superb example of how BloomEstate goes the extra mile. It’s a high recommendation from us."

"The (few) rooms were very stylishly decorated and there was enough space outside to relax. Beds were excellent but the crown was the food. EXCELLENT restaurant serving Italian food. The breakfast, included, was also served there and the eggs Benedict we were served were some of the best we ever tasted. The sights of Swellendam were not very close, but since it was easy to park, this didn't pose a problem. Highly recommended!"

"This was a last-minute booking, literally at 4 hours notice, and the guest house couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. It was an emergency trip and we can only thank Aan De Eike for excellent service. Because we had to leave quite early, we were still able to enjoy a good breakfast buffet. This is a delightful place we have stayed in before as part of a group. The inner courtyard is very relaxing, and staff are always helpful and friendly"

"We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very comfy. The garden had taken a beating due to the relentless drought but the owners still made the effort to try save the potted flowers. The pool was nice and big but due to some welcome rain we did not swim. We tried to visit the famous fairy garden and the Hidden Dragon but both were closed as it was during the week. The breakfast was delicious and Patrick the owner prepared and served himself. We will highly recommend staying here. "

"Jan and Vivianne were amazing hosts. We had a lovely room surrounded by trees and bird life. The breakfast and fruit platter, with their homegrown/homemade fruit compotes, was delicious. They even let us take their personal booking for dinner at the restaurant we wanted to eat at, as it was fully booked. Their doggo Kaya was also a very good host and kept us company. I’d definitely recommend staying here"
