Scholars Hotel (Dongzhen road subway station, Suzhou)

West of Suzhou Industrial Park/Suchow Center
Breakfast: The food is very rich. Su-style Aozao noodles and small wontons are especially recommended. They are delicious and unique. Other types are also very good. The four kinds of porridge are great. Service: All service staff are very enthusiastic and positive. I really like their initiative to introduce local specialties and tourist routes. Sanitation: The room is clean and refreshing, and clean everywhere. The overall environment is ancient and poetic, with music, chess, calligraphy and painting, mountains and rivers, birds and flowers. I really love the transportation here. It is very convenient. It takes two minutes to walk to the subway station. Such a good place must be recommended.
Scholars Shushan Hot Springs Resort

Hot spring pools didn't vary much, and occupied what seems to be a small area, which worked to our advantage because we stayed when the wearther was 1-2degC. Restaurant offered fair-priced dinner options, breakfast spread was fair as well. Not much happening in the surrounding area, until one takes the tourist shuttle (or the ebikes for rent parked around the area) where folks can check out other quaint village/farm cafes and restaurants.

The hotel gives people the feeling of an old four-star hotel, with a bit of age in the decoration. When I first arrived at the hotel, I didn't understand clearly that I was staying in the annex building. There was no one at the front desk of the annex building. I would like to give a small suggestion that it would be better to put a sign to indicate that check-in is at the front desk of the main building. Fortunately, we met a staff member who told us where to check in. After confirming that we were staying in the main building, the brother kindly helped us move our luggage from the annex building to the main building. The girl at the front desk also helped us upgrade the room type. The service was really considerate and I like it! The room was clean and the facilities were relatively new. Another detail that I paid attention to was that the remote control was also covered with plastic paper, the oversized TV, and the fun brush was set up to write with water. It felt like a hotel that paid great attention to details. After a short rest, the service staff brought welcome fruit. This time I came to Suzhou mainly to watch Karen Mok's concert, and I would not stay in the hotel for a long time, so the main considerations were cost-effectiveness and transportation. The hotel's meticulous service was really an unexpected surprise. In terms of transportation, the hotel is also very close to the subway entrance, which is very convenient for going to the concert. But this concert not only encountered rain but also a cold wave. I was shivering in the rain. On the way back to the hotel, I was locked in the mall and spent a long time looking for the exit before I could take the subway. I felt a bit like ”Lost in Thailand”. However, the hotel's remarkable service and delicious breakfast brought warmth to this journey. Thank you to the staff for enthusiastically introducing Coffee City and reminding us in time that we had forgotten something. Next time I come to Suzhou, I will still choose Shuxiangmendi Hotel. You are all great...

Great experience, this is my second time staying in this brand chain hotel. The facilities are consistent in style, the details are handled with extra points, and the environment fits the theme. The room is equipped with various types of books, which is suitable for people who love reading!
Scholars Hotel (Moon Bay subway station, Nanotech Park)

Industrial Park. Dushu Lake
If you are looking for a good hotel for a good price, this is the right place. 4 star hotel with 4 star service at a good price. The bed was comfortable and the room very big, with even a sofa and a small ''living room'' place. If you are in Suzhou for visiting the city center and the touristic spots, this hotel is located too far from those, and even the subway station is not very close (800m), it took at least 30 minutes to reach the main city attractions.
Suzhou Park Xinghai Scholarly Family Hotel (Jinji Lake Store)

West of Suzhou Industrial Park/Suchow Center
The hotel is a family-themed hotel with a strong bookish atmosphere (chess, go, calligraphy, guzheng, and small bridges and flowing water) as soon as you enter the lobby. I was very satisfied with the check-in process. The front desk brother and sister sent afternoon tea and snacks (just happened to be Women's Day) and fruits. Seeing that we brought children, they also sent children's toiletries (children's toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers and small toys). After arriving in the room, I found that there were small gifts. I saw the promotion at the elevator entrance: there are free suppers at night (after 9:30), so I ate porridge and tea eggs. Checking out the next day was also very convenient, because I booked it on Ctrip, I just gave the room card to the front desk, and they also sent souvenirs (an unexpected surprise). In short, whether it is a business trip or a tour, it is a good choice. In addition, the front desk also has stamps that can be used to check in Suzhou's famous attractions (Oriental Gate, Suzhou, Humble Administrator's Garden, Hanshan Temple)
