Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Suzhou

The hotel is very nice. We are lucky to be upgraded to a suite with extra space. Staff are friendly and helpful. If I have to be picky, it’s not too close to the attractions of Suzhou. But with the excellent coverage of their online can order app, everywhere can be reached within 20mins under or around 20RMB, so it didn’t bother us too much. And just one thing, the live TV is weirdly with lagging as if the signals are from the internet. But if u don’t watch tv or do a smart device casting, it’s fine. (Just we were watching the French Open final so the picture lags were a bit disturbing lol) Overall it was very very nice :)

The hotel is located near Jinji lake and Suzhou centre plaza mall, but there are a lot of construction projects going on around the hotel.

Facilities: It is basically a business hotel. I booked a deluxe twin bed and upgraded it to a deluxe business twin bed. In fact, it feels better without the upgrade. The area is the same. The toilet and bathroom of the business twin bed are separated on both sides, which is very inconvenient. This design is not humane. The bed is good, but 1.35 meters hard. It is quite rare that there is no capsule coffee machine. It is served with drip coffee. The taste and variety of breakfast are very average. The butter is about 25° in the room, and the butter is directly liquid. I am really afraid of diarrhea after eating it. I didn’t make it carefully. It ends at 10 o’clock. Environment: It is in the East Taihu New District, so there is nothing downstairs of the hotel. I drove to search for the Dongwu Noodle House. There are many shops about 500 meters away. Her chicken steak and shrimp are delicious, and the noodles are average! Hygiene: Hygiene is really probably the uncleanest of all Hiltons I have stayed in except the one in Lingshan, Wuxi. The floor tiles at the door are very greasy. Our disposable slippers are all marked when we step on them. And the floor tiles are unsealed. It can be seen that a lot of dirt is stuck in them for many years without thorough cleaning! I live in 706. When I checked in, there were only 2 tissues left, and only one-third of the toilet paper roll. I used my own tissues when I left the hotel today! There was not even a spare toilet paper roll! First time seeing this Service: This is commendable. The front desk responded very promptly. The basic items were delivered within 5 minutes, but there was no robot to deliver the food. As a result, if you want to order a takeaway, you have to call the front desk to trouble them to deliver it. This is a bit annoying Overall, the hardware is OK, but the hygiene and breakfast are not up to par

The room was just the right size and very comfortable. The hotel is located at Global Port in Xiangcheng District. All the surrounding areas are business districts, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. The room prices are not expensive and the service staff are very friendly. There are many choices for breakfast, rich and delicious. I will stay here again next time I come to Suzhou.
