Hotel Saginoyu ★★★
"The room was clean and the hot spring was excellent."
HOTEL Lafonteine Suwa ★★
"There's no elevator, no staff, and the facilities are quite old. To put it simply, the options for visiting this tourist hotspot are extremely limited. Shopping and dining options nearby are very inconvenient, and the hotel check-in process is entirely self-service; I didn't see a single staff member until I checked out, haha. The price of around 200 RMB is not bad, quite cost-effective, and you can see the lake just across the street."
Hotel Beniya ★★★
"Good~~~"
Nunohan ★★★
"Location: Right by the lake, with fantastic views. There's a Lawson convenience store and a highly-rated grilled eel restaurant nearby. Room: The Japanese-style family room was excellent, a blend of modern and traditional styles, comfortable and stylish. Onsen: There's an onsen on the first floor of the hotel, with both indoor and outdoor pools, very convenient. We soaked in the onsen after our hike up the hill, which was incredibly relaxing. Service: The service was the best part. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and even helped us call a taxi. The hotel also offers electric-assisted bicycle rentals for only 1000 yen for two hours. We cycled around the lake the next day, a fantastic experience!"
Hamanoyu ★★★★
"The hotel service was excellent. A very experienced gentleman greeted me upon check-in. Although we didn't speak the language, I learned about all the hotel's information and facilities. The free public onsen is open 24 hours, and they even reminded me of the changed breakfast hours. I also managed to book a private onsen room with them. We checked in on a Monday, and the hotel wasn't crowded, so booking a private onsen room was easy. A 45-minute session cost only 1000 yen, which was very friendly to hotel guests. Furthermore, we arrived very late, and the hotel had already turned down the bed, which was fantastic! 👍🏻 I barely had to unpack anything; after changing and soaking in the onsen, I could seamlessly transition to sleep. This was my best night in Japan! 😆😆 (Except for the slight woody smell from the wooden room, which I found a little unusual)"
Comfort Inn Suwa Inter ★★★
"I use it when I go hiking in the Yatsugatake Mountains. It's small, but there are many restaurants nearby, so it's convenient if you're traveling by car."
Suhaku ★★★★
"I forgot something and they kept it for me until the third day, thanks!"
HOTEL ROUTE-INN KAMISUWA ★★★
"I was able to relax in the large communal bath and enjoy a delicious breakfast."
Rako Hananoi Hotel ★★★
"Overall, the hotel is pretty good, but it's really far from the station and public transport isn't great. There aren't many restaurants or convenience stores nearby. For a tourist, I don't think it's worth coming all the way out here to stay."

"The private hot spring was pretty good."
Lupia Inn Nanko
"It's nice to have a large bath where you can relax even though the shower in the room is enough. The breakfast was very delicious!!"
Katakura Silk Hotel
"Very satisfied 👍"
Hotel Lalba Suwako
"It’s cheap and there’s nothing fussy about it"
Shibu No Yu
"Service: Very attentive. Although the front desk staff didn't speak Chinese or English, we managed to communicate well with the help of a translator. Food & Beverage: Dinner and breakfast were included in the room rate. Dinner was tasty and substantial. Breakfast, however, was quite standard and not really to Chinese tastes. Environment: The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the station and a 30-minute walk from Tateishi Park. We were also lucky enough to catch a fireworks festival on the day we checked in!"
Kamisuwa Onsen Aburaya Ryokan
"The hot springs are real, but the place where you can soak in them is just average. The room is big and clean. We stayed in a Japanese-style room with tatami, which can accommodate three or four people without any problem."
Suwakoen
"It was great having Lake Suwa right in front of us. The staff were incredibly friendly. The accommodations were in excellent condition, and the best part was the hot springs! It was a great place for morning walks and jogs, and I definitely want to visit again in the spring or fall. Most importantly, the kids loved it too! It was a great way to relax and unwind."
Kirigamine Kogen Ryokan Futabaya
"There was no bus from JR station to the site, and it was scattered about \ 13000 for the taxi fare, and it was about 30 minutes by Alpico transportation bus in the guide, but it was a pity (> _ <)"
