"The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the station. There is a Lawson convenience store nearby, and bicycles can be rented or boats can be taken across the street. The hotel will make up your bed before dinner. The main building has separate hot spring baths for men and women, and there is an observation deck upstairs. The annex has a spa for a fee, as well as a foot bath and private hot spring rooms for a fee. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The breakfast is very diverse and delicious. There is someone to help you make rice balls and tamagoyaki. Their curry is especially delicious. You can add mentaiko (spicy cod roe) to make it very fragrant."

"The location is fantastic, right by the lake, and just a 600m walk from Kami-Suwa Station. The newly renovated hot spring bath on the top floor offers breathtaking views of Lake Suwa, with two distinct pools: the 'Vermilion' iron-rich red spring and the 'White' clear ordinary spring. The Japanese-style room was standard and offered a side view of the lake. The food was quite ordinary. We received complimentary tickets for a swan boat tour of the lake, but unfortunately, the lake was frozen on that day, so we couldn't experience it."

"The hotel's location is excellent. After arriving at Kami-Suwa Station, you can take a shuttle bus directly to the hotel entrance. Just remember to book it in advance via email or phone. A key thing to note is that you need to cross the pedestrian bridge from the station to the parking lot at the West Exit of Kami-Suwa to catch it. The hotel breakfast offers local specialties, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and there was a wide variety of choices. The outdoor hot spring and large public bath are, without a doubt, fantastic. Plus, the male and female baths switch daily. I showered mainly in the large public bath during my two-night stay, so I didn't find the in-room facilities to be too dated. There are two washing machines and two dryers available, and the hotel also has English-speaking staff at the front desk. The room uses a physical key, so be sure to keep it safe. To my pleasant surprise, when I returned to my room in the evening, the staff had tidied up and neatly arranged the items I had left scattered on my table. I was very touched by this. All in all, this is a hotel where, if you manage to secure a reservation, you can simply relax and enjoy your stay."
