I realize that they are going through major renovations in the hotel, and this is not "helped" by the major road repairs going on right outside the hotel. Hypothetically, that does take away from a potentially better review. However, the extra care that all of the hotel staff is providing makes up for so many of the imperfections that guests - and this definitely means my wife and myself - put up with, to include your approaching the matter with understanding and good will towards "our neighbors". Concerning a very personal issue that my wife and I faced while leaving the hotel on the morning of November 15, the staff acted with true empathetic customer service, solving our immediate problem in meeting an early morning situation objectively, and with a very admirable results orientation mixed with outstanding attitudes and "smiling through" from beginning to end. Our car would not start and I was prepared to let our insurance company - with at least an hour's delay and a cost of 1,500 SEK - intervene. Your receptionist on duty, Genia (spelling may not be correct), immediately arranged for the hotel's facilities manager (sorry I did not get his name) to stop by the hotel and jump-start our battery, outside of his working hours. It all happened very quickly and successfully, and let us get on our way in no time flat. The hotel staff should all take a bow for a great performance. Thank you so much! Joseph Carroll

Compared to my previous stays at other Scandic locations, my experience at Scandic Sundsvall Nord was somewhat underwhelming. The food offerings were not as varied or high-quality as I expected—especially the fruit selection and the limited variety of bread and side dishes at breakfast. The room felt poorly ventilated, which affected overall comfort. Additionally, the parking situation was inconvenient and could benefit from clearer organization or increased capacity. I hope this feedback helps in improving guest satisfaction moving forward.
