Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Summerside

Very accommodating, we had a little one with us and they went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable.

Seems like a very new facility, rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Staff was nice and breakfast was great!

Junior Suite--This hotel is adjacent to the Community Pool/Center a few blocks from water, in a residential area. It has a small bar which also serves for the free breakfasts. --Pros---clean, quiet suite even though it was across from the elevator, comfortable bed, walking distance to an ocean side park/walkway, short drive to many food options--pet friendly--welcoming/helpful staff, washer and dryer availability,,,,Cons- no sheer drapery so the room is on public display, when darkening drapes are open. no ironing board if you want to take wrinkles out of your clothing

Comfortable and well-located. The room was a nice size and furnished with modern decor. They only had plugs on one side of the bed, which is problematic in a world where every person has to charge devices overnight. There were not enough spaces in the bathroom to hang things or place things. The closet was hidden behind a faux wall, which was clever, but if you never sat at the desk, you would never know it was there. The breakfast was nice with eggs, bacon, and potatoes, plus make-your-own waffles and some fruit. The waffles were good, but there were no sauces or whipped cream to put on them, other than syrup. It's a small thing, but in their tea selection, there is no English Breakfast tea, which is usually a standard offering. The breakfast area was packed and they must have to use overflow seating a lot because there were signs directing people to a meeting room to eat, but it seems like many people didn't see the signs and so were trying to crowd into the eating area. Nice staff and plenty of parking, so it's a good option in the area, but it's pretty pricey for what you get.
