The woman who checked us in was unfriendly and failed to communicate effectively. While the room matched the pictures online, we encountered several issues: old stains on the linens, a malfunctioning air conditioning unit, and exposed wires from outlets without covers. The hotel's hot tub was out of order for the duration of our stay. On the second night, we were shocked to see multiple unexpected charges appearing on our credit card, ranging from $38 to $190. The following morning, we spoke with the manager, who claimed that the night auditor had made an error regarding our card and promised that the charges would be reversed. We made it clear that we were dissatisfied with the stained bed linens, the problematic outlets, and the A/C issues. We initially chose this hotel for its proximity to family, but based on our experience, it’s clear that staying at a hotel further away would be preferable to dealing with unreliable charges, dirty linens, and potential safety hazards. This hotel will not be my first choice in the future.

This hotel was not fancy but it was clean, well run and comfortable. The included breakfast was very good (loved the Belgian waffles!) The beds were comfortable, the room was well equipped. I would recommend this hotel for a good night’s stay!

Very degrading experience with my prescription medications, very rude, checked out daily early. Will be contacting disability associates and tourism board. Have stayed there several times in past 2 years but not again

Our bed had pee stains, a blonde lady employee with glasses called me a **** as I walked out to bring groceries in. The owner overcharged us for laundry detergent. Room was not clean when we received it. I’m from Rapid City and I stayed in this hotel during my move back to South Dakota, Absolutely the worst display of South Dakotan Hospitality. DON’T STAY HERE. If you do choose to stay here, look under the protective covers to the bed to make sure you’re not laying in DRIED PEE. You’ll have to clean your own room cause the employees will claim they cleaned it when they obviously didn’t. Don’t mistake the employees for kind they are fake and will insult you at every chance. It is a total disappointment to return to my birth place and deal with these people in the hotel as I am stressfully moving from state to state. BEST ADVICE STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AND GET YOUR MONEY’S WORTH.
