This was our second trip to Highlands at Sugar Mountain. We so enjoy our time there. The condos, while older, are clean and offer all the "comforts of home." (We did not have a coffee maker, called the office, and one was delivered.) The staff does a wonderful job, is friendly and helpful; wonderful service. The location is the best, we ate in Boone one day and Banner Elk the next day. We were pleased to be able to support the economy after the devastation of the storm Helene just a year ago.

We had a nice vacation with another couple. Weather was great and trip up Grandfather Mtn was a fun trip. Golf weather was excellent.

The property is older but well maintained. The unit we were assigned had an old, lumpy or cheap mattress and the headboard squeaks when you move in the bed.

we chose this place to do something different but because I’m a member I expected more cleanliness. The fold out bed was so uncomfortable. You could not use it and the window shades some where broken. Thebuilding structure was sagging you could skateboard on the floor there was electric wires hanging loose in the first floor closet. The lights in the closet were flickeringbecause the wiring hanging in the closet should have been put in the wall and nothanging loose

We were there to celebrate my son’s 15th birthday! We enjoyed everything in the surrounding areas. We had an issue with our washer and they fixed our issue the next day! We will definitely be back!

The swim pool did not look clean the hot tub. The Jets didn’t work and it looked like it was molded. It was so old ,did not realize they did not have air conditioner. We were on the bottom floor. Needless to say it was a bit hot thank goodness it wasn’t in July or August that we stay there.

Love Highlands at Sugar
This property is older but we like it's authenticity. The staff is pleasant, the unit is very spacious and the views are spectacular. Its our 3rd visit and we'll be back!

Beautiful serene Mountain View. Grocery and restaurants within 5 min not walkable but driving. Staff was very friendly. Apartment was very clean and I would definitely recommend
