"The room is clean, the bedding is clean, the toilet has a separate shower room as in China, and the toiletries smell of herbal medicine that stabilizes mood. I am very satisfied with the room. The transportation is convenient. We didn't rent a car. We took the subway to Universal Studios Station and then transferred to the bus for two stops. There is a shuttle bus to Universal Studios and the timetable is posted. The bus leaves as soon as it is full, so if you want to go there, it is best to wait for a table at the door early."

"The motel was easy walking distance to Universal studios, in fact we figured out on our 2nd day that there was a free Universal studios shuttle at the base of the hill that leads up to universal. The room was basic but did have a mini fridge that was nice for sandwich stuff and drinks. They provided free coffee and a small assortment of pastries for a breakfast snack. Free ice was available in the office as well. For a family on a budget it was worth the stay."

"To get to Universal Studios, take a bus from the nearby bus stop (a 5-minute walk) to Universal Studios Station, then take a free shuttle bus to Universal Studios. On the way back, I took the shuttle bus to Universal Studios Station and then a taxi. There is a bus, but I was worried about the safety of the area, so I took a taxi. During my stay, it was dark at 6 PM, and there were some strange people at the station, so be careful. The check-in location is at another hotel, so you should also be careful. When I got there, the staff room at El Pati Inn was full, so I checked my email and found that I had been informed that I would be checking in at a different hotel around 11 AM that day. Although it said it was less than one mile away, I couldn't walk with large luggage, so the round-trip taxi cost about $15. It's my fault for not checking my email, but I wish they had notified me a little more in advance. The toilet and shower are not separate, but there is a shower room with a door, which was convenient. The windows had blinds, but some were missing and there were gaps, which made me worried about security, but I didn't encounter any particular issues during my stay. However, I felt that security and the size of the room were a little lacking considering the price. Given the location near Hollywood, I guess that can't be helped."
