Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Strathmore

Pleasantly surprised. Rooms were updated and comfortable.

My wife and I flew out from Toronto to visit family in Strathmore. We chose this hotel because other family members have stayed at the Days Inn and recommended it to us. We were extremely happy with the location, cleanliness, friendly staff and our well appointed room on the first floor just down the hall from the lobby. We actually had a fireplace in our room. The hotel is close to shopping and many restaurants. The breakfast was just ok. Eggs, real potatoes and sausages were the hot foods. Unfortunately, they warm the food with only a bulb so none of the breakfast was really hot. Coffee was adequate and they had toast, yogurt, bagels and fruit as well. We used the pool and hot tub. The water was clean and the hot tub hot and relaxing. Our first night’s sleep was wonderful (Friday) however Saturday night was a little different as many kids rolled in on Saturday. It’s by no means the hotel’s fault for kids running up and down the hallways until after midnight (parents should be responsible) however we did manage to get to sleep with no harm done. Overall a very good experience at the Days Inn.

Pulled over for the night passing through on the way to Vancouver. Basically just stayed long enough for a short sleep and a shower but wish we could have had more time. I haven’t seen a hotel this clean and fresh in a very long time.

My stays at Days Inn establishments has been varied some have been low quality renovated motels and others like this one are far above that. The Days Inn Strathmore receives excellent marks. Rooms are what you expect - large with comfortable beds. The front desk service wasn’t great, but then you only check in and out. Breakfast was also better than some. Scrambled eggs (typical) home fried potatoes sausage, cereal selection, fruit, coffee (not great), toast…. Overall a good selection and plenty of seating.

Nice clean very well equipped room . Friendly staff , very reasonably priced and best of all no stupid deposit. Close to all shopping and restaurants . Never got to try out pool but just ran out of time Recommend very high would come back again no problem.
