房間隔音很差，外面地板走路的聲音，隔壁放音樂的聲音都很影響早上的睡眠，梳化床一點都不舒服，床單很薄很軟總覺得不乾淨，睡了身上很癢，房間空間不算很小，基本也沒什麼服務。所以比較一般。

We stayed at a suite on the second floor with a view of the pool and some trees that had changed colors, though the pool was empty. The sitting area was spacious with a fireplace and balcony. Beautiful decor. The bedroom was funky as the tv was behind the door and prevented opening all the way. Bathroom and tub was great but shower was too small and had curtains ☹️. We ran out of Kleenex and the teapot didn’t work. Breakfast was really good and great choices like chia seed pudding! Great location and walking distance to downtown.

If you want to stay in the heart of Stowe and be able to walk to dining and shopping, this is a great location! Field Guide Lodge is a part of the Lark Hotels family. All these hotels have a fun vibe. We stayed in the main lodge. The rooms in the main lodge are very simple, the first floor of the lodge is the communal living room. The area is comfortable and decorated nicely, and has board games, shuffleboard, a few fireplaces and hot water for tea. Breakfast in the morning is included. They had fruit, pastries and a protein of sorts, coffee and hot chocolate. In the evening we enjoyed a cocktail at the bar, which has live music some nights 7:00-9:00. There is a hot tub you can reserve for 30 minute increments. We opted to pass due to the weather and our short visit in the area. In the summer, there is a pool, which looks like a lovely set up. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We did visit during peak leaf peaking season, so it was pricey for the room type, but that’s what you can expect anywhere in Stowe in October.

The lobby is absolutely amazing and extremely cozy. Very well maintained. Breakfast, is simple but emphasis is on quality (see photos). Room and bathroom is also very nice, Coffee (La Colombe) is available in the lobby. Loved the electric fireplaces placed at different spots in the lobby. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Nice enough place with a great location. But beware the music in the lounge that starts around 8:30 will keep you awake if you go to bed early.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at this place. We paid $1200 for a king room, which looked nothing like the one advertised on the internet. It was old, grimy, the bathroom was a dark hole with no windows and a lot of discolorations in the shower. Our door lock did not work, the rod was not attached to one of the discolored black out curtains. The bed sheets were polyester. At night you could hear people talk in the adjoining room. The breakfast was not great, but ok. Coffee and tea come in paper cups. The nicest thing about this place is the lobby area. There is no lift. I'm listing all these things here , because I felt ripped off by the false advertising and because we paid so much money for such an underwhelming experience. I would not have complained if the night had cost $200. I would therefore not recommend this place to anyone.

We were originally put in a room directly over the bar and had a dingy bathroom with a shower curtain. I asked to be moved. We were moved to a floor above away from the bar area. The bathroom in this one had a screen door but the shower floor looked dirty, nothing a good scrub with bleach would sort out. Although hot water and hot cider were provided in the reception no coffee or tea, only coffee at breakfast and no coffee making facilities in the room. Beds were comfortable and nice bedding. We were woken up every morning around 4.00 with a very strong fume smell in the room, we don’t know if it was the air conditioning that was faulty but was a but worrying that it may have been toxic, so we opened the windows but being on the main road it was then noisy. Breakfast was a poor offering and not really worth having. Considering this establishment cost us around $880 for two nights it was certainly not worth the money.
