We chose this hotel because the ad says it has a pool and hot tub as stay was with my 2 young granddaughters. I had mom pack bathing suits and purchased $80 in pool toys and had them so exited to swim. Upon checking in I was told the pool and hot tub were closed because they couldn’t get the chemicals right. For 3 days?!? We were offered to go to another hotels pool but we had to drive to it and it’s not heated and didn’t have a hot tub. There wasn’t even a stopper in the rooms bath tub so they couldn’t even take a bath. I was forced to go purchase MORE toys and entertainment. My granddaughter loves an elevator and that went out of service while we were here and my room key stopped working. We had the furthest room from the front desk so we had to walk all the way back down the stairs and hall carrying all our things for a new key. I wasn’t offered any type of compensation or resolution to our weekend being routined.

It took a while for the hotel front desk to find my reservation with my ID, conf# and told me to go check super 8. When I told her I paid for the room already, she took more time to look and said she found it. The entire town had 1 restaurant opened after 8 which closed at 9. The hotel had coffee pot that was halfway broken. Breakfast was a challenge, the waffle makers were broken and nothing really worked. The hotel lobby was blasting MTV at 5am and wouldn’t reduce the volume…just the worst experience.

We checked in and used the bathroom in the hotel room which overflowed all over the bathroom floor. The staff was very quick to repond and they gave us a new room. However, the new room had a very noicy A/C so they upgraded us to another room which was excellent. I am very grateful for their great service as we had a very bad experience the night before at a different hotel. Beds were comfy and the A/C worked great.

Very upsetting on comfort inn. I always stay on these hotels everywhere I go there always very clean and well take care of. Very bad breakfast staff always smoking outside Carpets had Stains The bedding had a lot of hair. I do not recommend this hotel.

Smelled like smoke upon walking in. The fire alarm in our room was hanging off the ceiling and the wiring looked disconnected inside. There were holes in the plaster in the wall, pink mold in the shower, and the toilet was leaking all over the rusty floor. Overall very gross feeling but we arrived late at night and left super early anyways.

Decent place convenient to family visiting in Sterling.
Back door lock/latch broken is a security issue. It was broken last time we stayed too.

Great Beds
As other reviews stated too, their beds are SO comfortable. After 10 hours of travel, it was exactly what we needed. Overall, the facility is pretty clean. Our room was spotless. The hallways have some repairs going on so I expect it to be perfect soon!

There was a hole smashed in the wall from the door to our room. The room just looked pretty run down. Sheets didn’t even fit all the way on the mattress. Definitely needs to be updated.
