AVOID.. this hotel. Rooms are not what they look like in pictures . Stains all over carpets.. Floor boards by pool are a safety hazard . Security at night is minimal. Very old and run down... its had its days honestly.... much better places to be in .

Lovely Winelands stay
Lovely stay in the Winelands at this countryside hotel. Rooms were lovely , lots of attention to detail. Bed was like sleeping in a cloud. Gorgeous surroundings.

When in Western Cape we always return to WedgeView Country House & Spa close to Stellenbosch, it is conveniently located only a short drive of approx 20 min. from Cape Town Airport. When having a late flight, it is a great treat that the friendly and helpful staff will let you spend the day around the pool. The gardens are beautiful and huge, the breakfast outside on the terrace around the fish pond is simply lovely and the selection is just so delicious with lots of fresh fruit, eggs made to order - all in a lovely setting. The rooms are all very spacious and elegantly decorated. The Spa offers a big selection of services. We can highly recommend WedgeView Country House.

Staff were great. Room was good. Some problem with toilet flush away.
Breakfast good.
The driveway up to the property should be improved…..long and bumpy. Did not suit my vertigo problem!
