Great spot overlooking the vineyards. The gardens were beautiful and we loved the fresh mint and lemongrass teas each morning. Beautiful spot.

A very quiet piece of heaven. We stayed in a Superior Room (1st floor) which had a private balcony from where you could enjoy a wonderful sunset. I would recommend an early breakfast so you can enjoy the quietness in the garden just after sunrise. A central point from where you might enjoy the area with the many wine houses where you can enjoy a very good lunch.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel in traumhafter Lage, direkt in den Weinbergen! Besonders beeindruckt hat mich der große, saubere Pool mit herrlichem Blick über die Reben – perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet mit frischen, hochwertigen Produkten. Das gesamte Hotel war sehr sauber und gepflegt, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Das hoteleigene Restaurant bietet eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, allerdings sind die Preise im gehobenen Bereich und stehen nicht ganz im Verhältnis. Dennoch ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einer einzigartigen Umgebung – absolut empfehlenswert!

Wedgeview was the perfect starting point for our South African journey. It was about 20 from Cape town airport and a very convenient distance to Stellenbosch wineries. We spent two nights here to recover from jet lag and to explore stellenbosch. We loved everything about this property and its staff!

This countryside hotel has everything to make it a perfect holiday destination. The only thing that could be improved was the service. It was a bit messy. Another guest’s laundry bag was misplaced in our room, we reported a wasp nest on our balcony after check in, but it was still there the day we left. And the service at the dinner was not the best. Example; offering to bring some mayonaise, but then never actually delivering it.
The staff is the sweetest you can get. But some training would make a huge difference.
That said. Hotel and rooms are beautiful!
