Window frames had been freshly varnished and the smell permeated the room unpleasantly; Squirrels in the ceiling were active the whole night long. Staff were apologetic but weren't able to resolve. The room should have been taken off rental list until solutions unfolded.

Very classy stay in the Evergreen manor lodge! The lodge and the rooms are really nice! Big rooms with everything you need. Friendly staff and good breakfast. The surroundings are very nice. Within walking distance, safe at nighttime as well, some good bars and restaurants. Booked a private winetour via them and it was arranged perfectly.

As a first-time visitor to South Africa and Stellenbosch, I was unsure of what to expect regarding accommodations; the Evergreen Manor and Spa proved to be an oasis. The staff, especially Clayton and Alex, were amazing. They anticipated needs and were deeply helpful and accommodating. The setting was lovely, and the spa experience was perfect! I highly recommend it.

Staying several nights at Evergreen was a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast service is lovely as well. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable. The property is very pretty. The spa services are also wonderful. When I return to Stellenbosch, I will absolutely choose Evergreen again. And I highly recommend it to others!

Warm reception,friendly staff members and an excellent place to stay. Just experienced some leakages during one of the rainy nights but it was immediatly resolved the following morning.

Evergreen Manor & Spa went above and beyond to accommodate our group of students, faculty, and staff. Their breakfast and service was top notch, they were easy to get in touch with, responded quickly, and answered all of our questions. Clayton and his staff were phenomenal hosts and the kindest people. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Stellenbosch area. It is close to everything too!
