Hotel Victoria

Unfortunately, the service in the hotel is not very helpful. I forgot my charger and asked me for a 84 € expensive service to send it. The rest is good quality but nothing special.

Lovely historic hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in one of their larger suites - it was spacious, had great harbour views and was generally comfortable. Good breakfast in a nice dining room. However, do note that the hotel has no AC (which should be fine most of the time), which can be a challenge on a rare hot day. The bathtub in our room also wasn't ideally set up - it easily leaked water when showering.

Very nice hotel specially when they renovation for it. Staff are friendly and very good services from their side. Location is wonderful with nice view.

Booked a classic double room but arrived to find we’d been given two twins. When asked reception to give us what we’d booked, they said they were now full and would have to move us to an inferior room. The original room overlooked a building site with a pile driver, so the decision was easy. Breakfast had lots of buffet food options, but was not as tasty as the other hotels we’ve stayed in during our Norway travels. Overall, the hotel tried to be special, but failed on the details.

One of our favourite hotels in Stavanger. Stylish, old fashioned but modern, in the middle of everything, and with a wonderful staff. Latest years we have celebrated my husbands birthday here, but we usually have a stay or two more pr year. Great breakfast, wonderful bar. Nothing to complain about - already looking forward to next time!
