This isn’t your average vacation rental, it’s a piece of living history. Restored by American Picker Mike Wolfe, Two Lanes Guest House is packed with vintage finds, soulful charm, and a deep love for small-town America. From antique details to custom craftsmanship, every inch tells a story. Whether you’re here to unwind, explore LeClaire, or spin a few records in the listening room, we hope you feel the spirit of the past and the comfort of home. Welcome to Two Lanes, we’re glad you’re here.Curated by a Picker. Designed for a Dreamer. This isn’t your average vacation rental, it’s a piece of living history. If these walls could talk, they’d spin you a tale of riverboats, roadside treasures, and the kind of heartland charm you can’t fake. Two Lanes Guest House is a lovingly restored 1880s home in LeClaire, Iowa, brought back to life by Mike Wolfe of American Pickers and packed with vintage finds, soulful charm, and a deep love for small-town America. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2,400 square feet, and more soul than a jukebox, it’s a stay steeped in history and grit.As you’d expect from the original picker himself, every room is a visual story and every corner is filled with character. From Wild West relics to motorcycle memorabilia and nautical treasures, the vintage soul of this home runs deep. Hardwood floors run throughout, layered with antique rugs and lit by fixtures that nod to a simpler time. A live-edge tree-slab headboard in the primary bedroom, helps make this space anything but ordinary. It’s lived-in, loved-on, and full of heart.Downstairs, it’s comfort wrapped in character. Sink into leather chairs and a cozy sectional draped in camp blankets. The kitchen’s all modern function with old-school style: granite-topped island, eat-in bar, and a dining table that’s seen generations gather. Mix a drink at the bar and head to the listening room… Dylan on the wall, vinyl spinning on the turntable, and the vibe just right.Up the antique-lined staircase (yes, that’s a bicycle hanging above), where three bedrooms sleep up to eight adults in pure comfort. The primary bedroom features a king bed and its own sitting room with a queen pull-out sofa. Two more bedrooms - one with a queen, the other with antique twin beds draped in antique quilts offer space to rest your heads each night. Two bathrooms, stocked with bourbon-lavender soaps from Tennessee, add the final touch of thoughtful comfort.Step out the front door and straight into small-town America. Stroll across the street to Mike’s own Antique Archaeology. The river’s just beyond. There’s a fire pit for late-night stories where you can roast s’mores with the Mississippi as your backdrop and the spirit of Americana everywhere you turn.Sleep in the story of the American road. This isn’t just a stay, it’s a place to connect with the past, soak in the present, and make memories that stick. It’s an experience wrapped in history, warmth, and wild-hearted charm.Other Things to Note:This home is filled with stories, from the vintage signs and Wild West relics to the quirky collectibles and roadside oddities. Every item has been handpicked with care, not just as decor, but as a piece of the Two Lanes soul.To keep that spirit intact for future guests, we photograph and inventory all the treasures before and after each stay. It’s nothing personal, just a way to make sure the stories stay where they belong. We know our guests come here to experience the magic, not take it home and we’re grateful for your respect in helping preserve this special place. Thanks for understanding and being part of keeping history alive. We also like to keep things transparent, just like the old days. So here’s the scoop: Antique Archeology quietly operates their mail order out of the basement a couple days a week. It’s run by a couple of part time folks who love this house as much as we do. They use a separate exterior entrance, and you likely won’t even notice they’re there. No shared spaces, no disruptions… just a little behind-the-scenes work happening while you enjoy your stay. House Rules:Our House, Your Home — Let’s Keep It Simple, Peaceful & Respectful. We love that Two Lanes feels like a place to celebrate, whether it’s history, connection, or just a good night’s sleep. But to keep the spirit (and the neighbors) happy, we have a few house rules we kindly ask you to follow: • Treat it like your grandma’s place. Respect the history, the quirks, and the treasures— we’ve filled it with love (and a lot of antiques). • No parties, gatherings or loud shenanigans. We love a good time, but let’s keep it mellow for the neighbors and the spirit of the space. • No smoking inside. If you must smoke, respectfully step out front, light up under the stars, and soak in the small-town quiet. • Only overnight guests are allowed at the property— have family or friends that want to stop by when in town, please ask for approval. • No commercial photography or filming without prior approval. • Leave it how you found it. We’ll handle the cleaning, just tidy up and be kind. • 8 guests max. We want everyone to have a comfy stay. This home is a retreat, not a venue. It was built for stories, not scenes—and we want to make sure every guest who walks through the door finds the same sense of peace and character you did. This home has stood for nearly a century and a half—let’s make sure she’s still standing strong for the next guests, too. Thanks for honoring the space, the neighborhood, and the heart behind this place. That said, if any rules are broken, we’ll have to ask you to leave early—and just so it’s clear, there won’t be a refund in that case. We appreciate your understanding and your good manners—it means a lot.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:• Treat it like your grandma’s place.
