Nathalie and David were delightful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Lovely home, beautifully furnished room, modern facilities and extremely well maintained. Spotlessly clean. Relaxed, quiet and feeling like one was living in one's own country home apartment. Quiet location in the center of the town - easy to access and free parking public parking within a one-minute walk from the residence. Private peaceful garden with nice pool which is excellent for just sitting back to read a book with a nice bottle of wine. Breakfast choice was extensive with nice touches prepared by David including freshly prepared home-made preserves. Would thoroughly recommend this wonderful accommodation as an excellent base for discovering both St Emillion and the surrounding area. Have stayed in many hotels and apartments around the Saint-Emilion area but Pavillon de Millesimes rates as one of the best. We will definitely be back.

It is not easy to rate this establishment. Its not that its not good, just it may be good for a small segment of travellers. The B&B is in a renovated old building with some very nice architectural artefacts. However, the design of the use of space is not too friendly to a traveler, especially if you plan to stay there for a few days or more. Let me first talk about the things I like about this B&B: 1. Beautiful old building, 2. very good room size for the room I rented, including a huge bathroom with bathtub. The room is bright with two big french door and window. Areas that I think it would improve to make staying there more enjoyable and convenient: 1. There is no closet or to put your clothes, so we have to lay out all our clothings on a big coach. If you have clothes, pants and jackets you want to hang, you may be out of luck, since there is very little space for hanging clothes, and the hangers supplied could not hang pants. So we lay our pants on the big couch. 2. The night tables are very small and not too much space to put a tablet and a phone and a glass of water there.We have to put the table lamp on the floor in order to make space for other items. 3. The toilet is in a different room outside of the bedroom area, and away from the bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no sink in the toilet area, and each time after going to toilet, one have to walk over to the bathroom to wash your hands, a bit inconvenient. 4. On arrival, we were asked what kind of bread we want in the morning, we indicated chocolate croissant, and we were given that for the 5 days we stayed there for breakfast. I think it would have been nice if they have offered other choices each morning. 5. There is no menu for the breakfast, and person looking after the breakfast would come and ask what you want. Unless I know of all the items that they can provide, I could only ask for the familiar items. I thought a simple menu with different offerings would be useful for clients.

The hotel is right across the road from the train station and tram/bus stops. I had a nice stay except for two things. First, the tap/shower water was too hot. A hotel staff showed me how to adjust the water temperature and said it was like this all in France. I of course disagree. I had stayed in two ibis hotels in Paris and Nantes just before checking in this Mercure. I had stayed in countless hotels throughout my 30 years of travels in Europe and had never encountered this ”scalding water” issue. In any case, the solution was to let the water run an exceptionally long time till the very hot water ran out. Then I could adjust the temperature. I come from a place where people treasure fresh water and find this unacceptable. As the hotel take international guests, perhaps there should be notices/instructions in the bathroom on how to deal with this ”scalding water” issue. Second, the coffee provided in the room was below expectation. A 4-star hotel should do better than that. I was glad about the kettle in the room, though.

The location is a 10-15 min walk away from the train station due to the layout of the train tracks, however it is also served frequently by tram C. Upside is its in a good, quiet and clean neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle. Very modern, clean and chic hotel. Comfortable sized rooms and toilet. Reception served by delightful and polite ladies.

Very good location, with the beach almost at your doorstep! Great room with a balcony. An easy 10 min walk to the pier where the ferries depart for Cap Ferret. Restaurants all around. About 10mins walk from the SNCF train station. Manageable for those rolling luggage as the pavement along the way is mostly paved and flat.

The hotel is a bit far from the city's attractions, but it's only a 15-minute walk from the train station, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making transportation quite convenient. A public parking lot is just across the street. While dining options nearby are limited, the hotel's own restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The breakfast is also good.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station. It is very clean and quiet, so it’s easy to sleep at night. The only thing we didn’t like is that you can’t adjust aircon to be very cold, so we had to open windows to let in some cool air.

It was my wine tour’s first stop and I’ve decided to check in one day earlier to minimize the hectic change of hotel (was hooping between hotels in the next 4 days 😅). Issue it’s not close to train station and you need to walk 20 mins to SNFC for Bordeaux. That said, it was a zen and relaxing area and if you do not need move around a lot and it’s nice spending a few days relaxing. What was the best is the staff (Natasha and Emilie, sorry didn’t ask the spelling 😅), they were super friendly and helpful - sparing one pair of slippers for me coz my room’s grading didn’t include slippers 😅), which I didn’t prepare any slippers. The ladies did me a great favour and I cannot survive without slippers in hotel 🤣 Lastly Natasha has shown me a detailed map which I can walk to Libourne SNFC to reach my tour buddies, which has eased my life in Libourne too 😍

Это наше второе посещение этого отеля, первое посещение было на 5+ и оставило самые приятные воспоминания. Отель: чисто, уютно, деликатно. Прекрасное постельное белье, современная и удобная мебель, очень хорошего качества косметические средства для ухода ( шампунь, бальзам и тд). Хорошо оборудована кухня: посудомоечная машина, микроволновая печь, электрический чайник, вся посуда прекрасного качества. Отдельный плюс за коробочку со средствами для мытья посуды ( таблетка для посудомоечной машины, моющее средство, тряпки двух видов…). В номерах все продумано до мелочей и очень удобно ( чувствуешь себя как дома). Локация удивительная, в пешей доступности залив Аркашона ( 1 км) и непосредственно океан ( примерно 8 км). Место идиллическое. Но во втором посещении были нюансы, которые оставили неприятный осадок. Забронировали сначала два дня, потом решили добавить еще один. Поскольку разница между этими двумя бронированиями составила всего 8 евро/сутки, даже не обратила внимание, что в одном бронировании классический домик, а в другом- улучшенный. Отель обратил на это внимание и прислал об этом уведомление, что вы можете доплатить 60евро/ночь и остаться в этом улучшенном домике. Если бы мое бронирование было отменяемым, я бы просто эти два бронирования отменила и создала бы одно, а так, просто написала отелю, что они нас могут сразу на все три дня поселить по классу более дешевого бронирования ( согласилась на уменьшение класса уже оплаченного бронирования). Потом эту же информацию прислал Трип ком, я подтвердила, что улучшение за счет доплаты своего второго бронирования не планирую, они тоже от себя об этом написали в отель ( что клиент согласен на снижение класса номера, но чтобы не переезжать из номера в номер). При заселении опять этот же вопрос, у вас два бронирования и вам нужно либо переезжать, либо доплатить. Я опять попросила селить сразу по более низкому тарифу, поскольку справедливо предполагала, что вариантов расселения в несезон было достаточно. Отметила, что не кажется ли вам странным, что мы проехали к вам 3 тысячи километров, приехали второй раз, согласны на снижение класса, озвучивать переселение через сутки в другой номер? Заселили. Действительно, не переезжали из номера в номер. Но при выселении выставили счет доплату, но уже по 80евро/сутки. Конечно, услышав мои недоумения по этому поводу, счет сразу аннулировали, но неприятный осадок остался. В связи с этим, хочу пожелать отелю более внимательно читать переписку с клиентом, чтобы не было лишнего общения и лишнего негатива. Отдельно хочу отметить, что мы имеем языковой барьер. Отзыв пишу без негатива, а чисто для информации. Оценку из-за своего неприятного осадка не снижаю, поскольку если на земле и существует рай, то он находится на этом полуострове

The hotel room was okay and the location was relatively remote. I stayed for 3 nights and received a deposit of 380 euros. I locked the credit card and confirmed it with the front desk when I left. Everything was fine. The deposit was refunded to me two days later. But they charged me 132 euros and called me to ask what happened. They said we had used the hotel breakfast, but we said no. In the end, the hotel took a minute to verify it and said it was a mistake. Now we have to refund the money. I have an IBAN account. Bank of China does not have such an account at all. Then they told me to send me the process of checking the account number. The first time I gave them my husband’s account number, I did not receive an email after an hour. The second time I called them, they sent my email again. I gave it to them, but I didn’t send an email. I sent an email to the hotel again, and I’ll see when they will get a reply. I feel like it was intentional.
