Find 3-Star Hotels in Philadelphia

I simply cannot say enough about this center city hotel. From the first line knowledgeable, friendly receptionist(s) on both shifts; actually EVERY staff member was friendly (I really wish I'd written down names); to the cleanliness of all aspects of the hotel to include the rooms and especially the bathroom area with the DOVE soap/shampoo/body wash, good water pressure, comfortable beds, fridge and microwave. And last but certainly not least.......the breakfast..... from the 1 minute pancake maker to hot everything else including fat biscuits, to the cold breakfast beverage(s) machine and good coffee. In/out Parking co-located with the hotel. My second year in a row. I'm impressed. and we'll be back. Keep up the good work.

The location is about two blocks from the city center, which is quite convenient, but there are limited dining options nearby; you have to go to the city center for more choices. The room is very spacious and well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, washing machine, and dryer, making it suitable for long stays or self-catering. The public facilities are on the top floor and, though I didn't need to use them much, they seemed complete and clean. The room decor is simple with a bit of an industrial style, primarily featuring concrete and white walls, emphasizing simplicity and convenience. Overall, everything was pretty good, but one major point was that the room wasn't cleaned at all during my 5-day stay. The hotel should provide some guidance upon check-in or in the room regarding cleaning services and trash disposal instructions, either for guests to handle themselves or for paid services. When I asked the front desk for cleaning, I was told they usually clean only once every three days, but in reality, it wasn't cleaned once during my entire 5-day stay. The accumulating trash, in particular, was a problem as I didn't know how to dispose of it. This was a bit of a letdown compared to my usual business hotel stays. If guests are expected to clean up their own trash, clear instructions are definitely needed to avoid confusion and the feeling of a lack of service.

Not far from the city center, the subway is not far away, the hotel room is relatively small, but considering the location of the gold expensive can understand. Only free lemonade in the lobby is available for drinking.

Having to pay for parking at a hotel is not very convenient. I understand that it is close to the airport, but just ask for the make model and license plate at check in. Then tow the violators. I parked in the turnaround to check in with plenty of room for cars to get by, in fact several pickups and cars were able to drive around me while I was checking in. The shuttle car driver asked, “who’s the ***** parked there,” pointing to my rental car. I said it was mine and I was finishing checking in and making payment. He stood uncomfortably close to me until I finished the parking payment to make sure I was moving.

Honestly, rated this lower simply because of the parking situation. The site needs to do a better job calling out parking  options and pricing. It’s also wild to charge $70+ for Valet Parking especially for that tiny little lot across the street. We parked behind the hotel overnight and it cost $25, a price I would have accepted at the hotel.  The Hotel was tidy, breakfast was good and the employees responded well to loud guests yelling and and banging around late at night.

I found this place for my trip to Philadelphia for the MLB All-Star Game. It was located on the 2nd floor of the building. Accessible by staircase upon entering. It was a great little spot, two full size bedrooms, living room, and kitchen. The surrounding area was a little sketchy, but people seemed to mind their business, so I never had any issues. I do wish there were grocery stores nearby. Had to go downtown to find food to stock up the fridge. They communicated with me as needed, and I checked out with no issues. The most satisfying thing is that the hotel has a small kitchen. It is very close to the cinema, supermarket and various small restaurants downstairs, and you can buy ingredients and cook by yourself. It is a ten-minute walk from the children's dormitory and class place, the Lin Huiyin Museum, and the main school attractions of the University of Pennsylvania. The safety is still very high.

This holiday inn room does not even send bottled water, you have to buy it downstairs, and you have to drink water on the first floor self-service cup! This is a bad review. There is no microwave and a small refrigerator. There is a restaurant opposite, the weight is large, one person is enough for two people to eat, cut.

We were given an upgraded room, which was great! The location was very convenient, right next to the city hall. The only downside was that there was no water to drink.

The room was nice despite minor damage i was worried about my deposit for. The pool was closed due to maintenance but the gentleman at check in said it had been closed for weeks and there were only 2 elevators working for the 5 floors of the building which caused for me to take my child up and down stairs in the stroller at times. Breakfast was very unorganized and they ran out of plates and utensils within 1.5 hrs into breakfast serving hours. No management took charge or initiative. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend especially for families with babies. Definitely call in to make sure you have access to amenities before staying.
