"Nice place for stopovers for our Sacramento to Los Angeles trip. Hotel is very clean with spacious rooms, ample seating . Kitchenettes are fully equipped."
EElly ChengThe space is very large, and the front desk service was very patient and gentle when I checked in in the middle of the night. It was quite quiet at night, and there was no disturbance. The only problem was that the hotel did not turn on the heating early during the check-in time when it was too cold in winter.
GGeorgiy TI do not have luck with Marriotts this trip.
Quite big and clean room, but old laundry and limited breakfast - mini-burgers, something with spinach (didn't try), hot oatmeal and waffles (pretty good). Also yougurt and a lot of toppings (I guess for waffles and oatmeal).
However, when we needed extra large towels, we received it - nice. I have not noticed any noice in the room.
HhoericWe chose to stay at Clovis which is not far from Fresno, after visiting the Yosemite National park. This holiday inn express offers above average accommodation, and there is a nice Japanese restaurant nearby (Japanese Kitchen) where we had a lovely dinner. Bed and pillows are comfortable. The breakfast is nice. We didn’t get the chance to use the pool or spa. We only stayed one night as the next day we left for Bakersfield (en route visiting the Sequoia National Park). Overall it feels like a hotel for business travelers and it’s like a 3-star hotel.
GGuest UserHotel location is good, get off the highway and find it quickly. Room facilities are new and sanitary conditions are good. Breakfast is simple and convenient. Due to some facilities decoration, the windows were sealed and the lighting was affected a little. The decoration starts at 8 o'clock in the morning and there will be some noise.
GGuest UserGo to Yosemite to choose Fresno as a transit station, arrive at the hotel in the evening, the hotel is good, there are good restaurants nearby as a choice. By the way, I also went to target. Nice hotel choice.
KKEITHThe room was acceptable. However, due to their remodeling, half the parking was taken up with construction equipment. Checking back into the hotel after work at 11pm proved impossible because there was zero parking spots available. I chose to recover my bags and check out versus risk parking on the street. And they charge $10/night for parking. Hard to do when they have none available and are overbooked.
GGuest UserThe location is near railroad tracks so if you're a light sleeper, which I'm not, might not work for you. The layout of my room (don't know about the others) is a little problematic. There's a door to the bathroom which doesn't have a fan which automatically closes, trapping all the humidity in there. Also in my particular room, probably partially related to the last item is that there was some black mold on some of the grout. The shower curtain wasn't installed correctly so it would gradually slide towards the center, defeating the purpose of even having a curtain. It looks like there must have been some flooding at some point because the bottom of the bathroom door had a lot of water damage.
But, the worst thing was the internet connectivity. This place had the worst I've ever experienced. I tried the wired and the wireless internet and maxed out at 4Mbps. Since I remote into work, this wasn't enough to make me even remotely productive.
On the positive side, the supplied breakfast was good.
I did let the lady at the front desk know about my experience; said she let maintenance know.
SSONGSHENGvery good! The service is also very good! The room is very good! The food is very good! The surrounding environment is also very good! Everything is very comfortable, and there are fast food restaurants around.
RRomerThe interior space of the rooms is in need of updating. Poor and shotty workmanship is very evident in what is there now. The fitness room is accessed by an outside door next to the lobby and when I attempted to open it two homeless men staggered out. There were marks on the floor from spilt soda hopefully. It did not smell like urine but it was creepy. The have cameras in the unit but they either don't work or no one is monitoring the room. I recommened they do a couple physical sweeps every evening since it was mentioned this is not the first time they have had this problem. There is a container for dissenfectant wipes but it was empty. The fan in the fitness room does not work. The clock on the wall is not working. This is all in the fitness room.
The parking situation needs to be addressed. One exit is closed so you have to go against the directional traffic arrows to get out of the property.
We found the bed comfortable and the complimentary breakfast in the morning acceptable.
